Dr. R Williams, DO

I was referred to Dr. Williams from my primary doctor. I had been struggling for a few years with urinary leakage. I figured it was a major surgery to have it fixed so I avoided having the conversation with my doctor, until my grandson asked me why I never jump on the trampoline with him or chase him. It was time for a change. I worked with a woman who had just had a sling procedure done and she was happy with it(she used a different doctor) I had my visit ,we talked about what was going on and what could be done to fix the issue. He was very thorough with explaining things to me, gave me pamphlets to read up on, but I was ready to have it done so we scheduled the testing and set a date for surgery. I went hope after about 4 hours to rest. I was prescribed pain meds but ended up not needing them. I did take an OTC medicine that first night and next day, but that was it. I had my follow up today and all restrictions were removed. Leakage isn't normal, go see Dr. Williams now!

Dr. Williams and his team are amazing!! Bladder leakage was really beginning to limit my active lifestyle. Dr. Williams performed his magic and I am back to live life on my terms. He showed great compassion to how my situation was effecting my life and was quick to fix the problem. His team is just as compassionate and they all work very well together. The OR team at UT Health was also amazing. Each RN had a role to play and they ran like a well-oiled machine. This has been my best OR experience ever. Thank you Dr. Williams and thanks to your team!!

My primary care physician had insisted I see a physician after I had seen a nurse at this clinic for recurring UTI's, who prescribed estrogen cream for me. She told me I would be using the cream for a long, long time, not to use the applicator that came with it, that they (the physicians she was under) did not recommend antibiotics for UTI's, but not much else. It was Dr. Williams birthday when I had my initial visit with him. After waiting for over a half-hour in an office for him to arrive, he informed me he was a surgeon and that there was no surgical treatment he could offer for my UTI's. He recommended a non-specific, refrigerated probiotic, and commented that probiotics were highly overlooked by physicians. That was it! After consulting with my primary on my next visit with her, I will see if she agrees with my decision to not return to this clinic for treatment.

He was the rudest Dr I have ever met in my 75 years in East Texas. He seemed resent my Dr referring me to him. Kept bragging about his over 400 visits to his profile page which had nothing to do with why I was there! I felt very disrespected while I was there for 5 minutes with him refusing to even listen to my health complaint!

Finding Dr. Williams in my area was a blessing! He was referred to me from another physician who knew him and his quality of work. I was afraid I was going to have to travel 2 hours or more to a larger city to have a procedure that was long over due. I was so impressed with him on my first visit and how understanding he was with my condition. He took his time explaining the procedures and made me at ease with a surgery that I had put off for many years and at my age knew would be hard on me but it was time. He ran several tests, we went over the results on other visits and surgery was scheduled.I had 4 different procedures done. He repaired so much that day, and at my 6 week visit, everything was great!I am so glad I finally took the time to have this done and put my trust in Dr. Williams for my care.

I had a bladder sling put in 5 years ago that created a massive infection. Dr. Williams took the sling out and did surgery to clean the infection. After healing he put a new sling in and I have not had any more problems. Dr. Williams and his staff are amazing and care about their patients.

Dr Williams took excellent care of me after my surgery. He listened to all my concerns and gave me my options. He made me feel at ease in a uncomfortable situation. I am like a new woman now. Very grateful to him.

I've had the Rezum prostate treatment as recommended by Dr. Williams. It was in the office, no hospital surgery, no anesthesia knock out, just a local. Recovery didn't take very long and I was back to my active lifestyle. Dr. Williams explained all the options so that I could fully understand and make the best decision for me. He always takes time with me and deeply cares. Not only is he a wonderful doctor, but he is a wonderful individual and I am always at ease in his care. I recommend Dr. Williams above anyone in the state of Texas. I love Dr. Williams!

I have been seeing Dr. Williams for several years now. He has always been a professional and an expert in his field. He keeps up to date on the latest procedures and cares and takes all the time needed with patients.

Being referred to Dr. Williams was a blessing. He and his staff walked me from diagnosis through treatment. Dr. Williams explained my problems and solution choices very clearly. I decided on the Rezum method of treatment. It's done in the office and while not the norm, results were almost immediate. I highly recommend him.

I really like Dr Williams. He was recommended to me by a family member. He is personable and takes the time to listen to you. The topics that have to be discussed with a urologist are very difficult and embarrassing. He makes you feel comfortable in describing your problem and offers reasonable solutions. I would definitely recommend him.

First of all Dr Williams and his staff were beyond courteous and helpful with a very sensitive issue and made me feel comfortable from the start and I’ve been seeing dr Williams for about 2 months. Dr Williams is an expert in his field of practice and since I’m a healthcare provider as well that speaks volumes about his ability to talk in specific terms and he doesn’t BS and is personable at the same time. He gave me my life back and more importantly my confidence. A debt I won’t ever be able to repay. Stand up work dr Williams and thank you for all you do.
