My experience with Dr. Mathews was great. He repaired an umbilical hernia and it went very well. He is very professional and really seems to care and take the time to explain everything in detail. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr Matthews did surgery on my mother last November for colon cancer. During the surgery the family received two phone calls from Dr. Matthews study my mother was rocksolid and doing great. She never regain consciousness as it turns out he had had a massive stroke and would not ever wake up. She died 21 days later at hospice.

Dr. Matthews did emergency surgery on me a year ago and saved my life !!! He removed a blood clot from my small intestine. He was so kind and had prayer with me before surgery . I am so grateful that he was on duty that day and would highly recommend him as a wonderful surgeon and person ???
