Words can’t express how grateful I am to have been a patient of hers! She helped me get my thyroid levels under control, she listened, cares and just overall a very good doctor again I can’t how bless I was to have been a patient of hers. It was sad to hear she moved on from the practice, very sad for me as it took 3 endocrinologists before finding her. She actually was a referral from my hematologist doctor and he described her to the T and she definitely superseded my expectations. We gave me hope again after finding her. Thank you for everything Dr. Hussain. I’m truly going to miss you and hope you come back.

One in a million
Dr. Hussain is literally one in a million. I was referred by a friend who was singing her praises. I have had issues for years and no one was taking them seriously. Within minutes, she knew what was going on and began my treatment. I felt respected and heard for the first time. She is so smart and so nice!! She even called me to follow up multiple times. I’ve never had a doctor care so much about me. She’s amazing.

Didn't listen to my concerns or symptoms
I had suspected I had Cushings and after explaining and showing my symptoms to Dr Hussain... which mind you I don't have a few symptoms of Cushings, I have ALL of them. She did one suppression test which showed normal cortisol levels and despite my concern it was a false negative. I requested a 24 hour urine test or saliva test to rule out Cushings, but my condition was written off as obesity and was offered weight loss medication. I didn't feel she really listened to my concerns and was quick to just throw in the towel and label my condition as obesity and wouldn't entertain any further testing to put my mind at ease. She's a very nice lady but I don't think she has a lot of knowledge or experience dealing with Cushings, which is very hard to diagnose.

Very Pleased
With a change this January from an HMO to PPO insurance, I was in search of a primary care physician with an emphasis on diabetes. I was very lucky to find Dr. Hussein who was accepting new patients and had an opening the very next day. (I suspect someone canceled just before my call.) I found her to be very thorough on my initial visit and she immediately helped me resolve the medical issue I was dealing with. Very pleased. Her practice uses the Healow app to communicate between visits, if you are comfortable using apps.
