Dr. Qi Zhang, MD

I had a very frustrating intro. to the pain clinic, but, after a year finally got past the cold, hard, administrative wall to Dr. Zhang and her nursing staff. And I am THRILLED to have finally become a patient of Dr. Zhang! I've been almost entirely disabled with nerve pain for the past 4 years after two failed surgeries in Rochester, with surgeons that had plenty of impressive degrees but who knew NOTHING about a balanced or wholistic treatment. Dr Zhang used her knowledge to find a solution to the pain, and implemented the treatment plan which, so far, has been nothing shy of AMAZING!

Dr. Zhang is in the words of a prior reviewer, a true professional, yet she is kind, caring and very personable. I enjoy simply chatting with her prior to and during procedures!! She is also extremely knowledgeable, current on procedures, research and literature and always treats each patient with respect and integrity - seriously, I feel as if she is a 'friend' who deeply cares about my well-being. Dr. Qi Zhang is an exceptional anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. I've been seeing her for more than a year (after a friend recommended her), and from my first appointment I felt I was in the hands of a true professional. Dr. Zhang takes the time to listen. She takes the time to explain. She's caring, confident and at ease. Most important, it's clear to me that she knows what she's doing in treating my lower-back pain.
