Last weekend my grandmother was taken by ambulance to Emory John's Creek for a suspected stroke. Dr. Kazmi addressed my family almost immediately to go over her medical history and what his plans were for treatment. After her CT, he confirmed what we had thought and what his recommendation was for her best outcome. Due to the size and location of her clot, he arranged for her to go via life-flight to Emory-Midtown for a new, innovative, and ultimately life saving procedure. If it wasn't for his quick response, she may not have made it that day. He was so kind and patient with us during our very stressful and emotional situation. He explained everything in as much detail as we asked, and you could tell was very genuine with his care. Even gave us his personal number to contact him, in case we had any issues once we arrived to big Emory. I would highly recommend and trust Dr. Kazmi to take great care of anyone that may need to visit him and his amazing team in the ED.
