Linda’s review
I think Dr Rehman is an excellent doctor. His knowledge and very patient. I have a lot of confidence in him and I have worked for doctors for 25 years. I set the standard pretty high. I do think his staff need to be more friendly.

After being with Dr Rehman for 6 years ...... Dr Rehman is very experienced & listens to the patient. He's a 5* Dr. Most office staff members are disrespectful & unfriendly, especially his nurse Wendy. She is very rude, obnoxious, blunt, & has no people skills. I rate the office staff with 0*!!! There are other top notch RA Drs in Houston who run a patient-oriented office.

Dr. Rehman is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain my condition and test results. I have never felt rushed and he always makes certain to answer any questions that I have. I have never had an issue getting a refill of required medications although he does require quarterly visits to monitor for side effects, which I appreciate. I have never had any issues with his staff and have found them to be professional and proficient.

2nd opinion. 1st appt- I ran late so I called, said it would be 15 mins- should I reschedule? They said NO come on, see you when you get here. So, I get called by nurse Wendy who was RUDE! I had to ask her was she was ok 2x. Response,"yeah I'm fine-You're late."(So I guess that's why she was rude). -2nd appt -I was fit into the schedule late at 4:30 after a ph call &told, "the "Dr.s Note" said you have borderline lupus" I get there,Dr. seems disinterested, i was rushed, tells me & adult daughter he had compared my labs w/records sent over from other dr. &then tells me other results were normal (which had been abnormal for years) I was so confused I started questioning him &asked him to show me. He couldn't.He seemed irritated. Then he said to see my dr. for pills or natural substances & that was it-left. I asked nurse if they'd rec'vd my medical records frm other dr. She looked...guess what her response was, "No maam, not yet." THE DR. LIED TO ME! He never saw my records! Horrible!

Went to Dr Rehman for a second opinion and ended up switching even though he was not on my insurance at the time. Thank God when we changed insurance companies he was in network. Very personable and friendly. After treatment by him my symptoms have all but disappeared. Thank you for your great medical care.

Dr. Qaiser Rehman really stands out from other doctors I’ve been to. He is a passionate and empathetic doctor who shows care and respect. He explains medical conditions well. During my visits for myself and my mother in law I have noticed he cares about providing the best treatment and solutions possible.

While the doctor is knowledgeable and taking good care of patients, the front desk is terrible,. They are very rude and not listening. When I called on emergency they just said 'Doctor is not available' and not interested in listening. Moving away to another place -- where the doctors are accessible when needed.

I am a cash patient of Dr. Rehman, I also have Lupus. I have been a patient for almost 2 years and in that time i have been hospitalized several times and Dr. Rehman has never seen me in the hospital. he prescribes medication but does not give refills unless you come in for a visit even if the medicine he prescribes is a medicine that must be tappered down and not just stopped. each visit to his office is $125 and even when i call to cancel an appointment 24 hours in advance i am still charged
