Dr. Punit Chadha, MD

If it wasn't for the blood test not sure I would continue. He just asks me questions, same as my GP. He never does an exam or even listens to my breathing. This time he was running almost 2 hours behind schedule and he was in the room with me for less than 10 minutes.

Dr. Chadha and his team were exceptional throughout my cancer treatment. I am happy that I was referred to such an experienced professional as Dr. Chadha and a well-oiled machine as Texas Oncology. While initially a little concerned about being just a number and receiving standard treatment, I quickly found that I was getting individualized care while benefiting from Dr. Chadha and his team's many years of experience. The entire staff -- nurses, PAs, schedulers -- was top-notch, providing compassionate care and recognizing me as a person going through a tough time in my life while being professional and adhering to process and procedure. Only small hiccups encountered stemming from last-minute changes to my scheduled appointments, but very small in the scheme of things. Extremely happy with my care and the experience....would definitely recommend Dr. Chadha and Texas Oncology!

I find Dr. Chadha an experienced, well-educated, professional, kind, caring and most compassionate individual. He ALWAYS makes himself available and spend and takes his time during office visits to answer all my questions and concerns. He has a great staff and support group working with him. Dr. Chadha is the ultimate professional. He has been monitoring the deep vein thrombosis in my lower left leg that manifested itself over a year ago. He has assured me that my blood work looks great--there is no etiology that contributes to the blood clot that I had which is very reassuring. Dr. Chadha takes the time to listen to all of my concerns even though he is super busy. He is very personable and likable.

He takes the time to examine all my concerns. Takes time to discuss test results and possible solutions.

Patients with cancer don’t feel well and Dr Chadha keeps them waiting for over an hour on every visit. Patients are booked starting at 8:30 am and he doesn’t arrive until after 9 am!!

I look forward to visits with Dr Chadha for numerous reasons, not merely for the evaluation of my current physical status. I reevaluate my states of being beforehand with both joy tempered by acknowledgment of that which might be obscured by the unknown without us. Being afforded Dr Chadha’s knowledgeable perspectives I am brought to territory I could not otherwise anticipate - to the greater benefit. I have never dismissed the vital episodes of diagnosis, treatments, stages of ongoing recovery & preventative measures wellbeing hinges upon. All this I learned (often relearning) in his care. I do not overestimate my strength or character in the face of dreadful illness nor have I neglected to recognize my resilience & the responsibility one must accept in order to fight the disease that has ended so many lives of those of significant cultural contributions. That Dr Chadha is the artist, scientist, engineer & active agent providing me the open path to survival is a pivotal monument Sun.

Dr. Chadha was very personable. He was able to figure out the cause of my dizziness and shortness of breath after one visit. Within 2 weeks of receiving the iron infusion, I had no more issues. I had been dealing with this for over a year so I am so appreciate of his help.
