Dr. Puneet Cheema, MD

I normally do not write reviews, but i felt i had to. It was the longest hour ever. I ask a question and he did research on the computer to find an answer. Shouldn't he know the answer. The resource he pulled up did not even apply to my circumstance. I said but that's not what I'm dealing with. He then made me feel stupid. Very condescending. Then He said i should take hormone medication after I'm finished with radiation, but 5 minutes later he said, if you want you can start taking it now. Huh?? Which is it? Maybe he was having a bad day. But, no one should make someone feel stupid.

He saved my life.

I had the worst experience with Dr Cheema! He was completely useless, dismissive and condescending. He did absolutely NOTHING to help me. I really don’t think my insurance should cover that visit because all he did was sit on the chair and scroll through my chart the entire time (because he obviously didn’t do that prior to seeing me). My partner and I waited almost an hour from the time his medical assistant came in to the time he came in the room. He had no interest in providing medical care to me. Dr. Cheema basically told me to forget about this visit… and that I should go see someone else for something completely unrelated to my visit. He was dismissive!! The doctor who referred me to see Dr. Cheema wanted he could do additional test and provide information to us because he’s supposed to be a specialist, but he did NOTHING!! Dr. Cheema plagiarized from the notes of the test results that was sent over to him, without doing his due diligence. I do not recommend Dr. Cheema!

Dr. Cheema treated my sister with stage 4 lung cancer. He extended her life and gave her the chance for life. She lived at least 3 extra years because of him and if she hadn't broke her hip and got pneumonia I think she would still be with us. We all should be so fortunate to have a doctor that believes in saving lives and really trying to help. I thank him for being with us at the consultation and giving us a last chance.
