Dr. Priyanka Uppal, MD

Dictor does not communicate with her patients not even when she has been told by her assistant that patient is having side effects from medication. Also, due to inadequate help, office visits are entirely too long.

Dr Uppal went above and beyond to help me recover from a severe viral illness. She and her staff are delightful. She is kind, compassionate, and will answer any and all of your questions to the nth degree. I absolutely recommend her!

After multiple requests for 2-3d to speak with her, she lied to my relative and said she would call us after she completed her rounds. She did not. She only calls when we escalated our requests. After discharge, I called to schedule the follow-up on the next business day (Monday). The staff person scheduled the follow-up appt for the following Monday but added that they would need another chest x-ray and someone would call us to schedule it. No one did. We finally called two days later (Wednesday) to schedule it. The x-ray is now scheduled. We are finding a new doctor for such health concerns. This one and her office staff are questionable. Our phone records will verify.

My mother is currently under her care during COVID restrictions. So we can’t get in to see or be with her. My mother tested NEGATIVE twice for covid and has been dx with pneumonia. Dr. Uppal continues to “treat” her. Unfortunately my mother does not have her hearing aides (they are being serviced) so she can’t hear very well nor does she understand all the medical jargon/terminology. On more than one occasion I have requested that Dr. Uppal call and speak with my mother’s son-in-law (SIL) who is a practicing physician. The other physician who was treating my mother spoke with him multiple times. This one is completely non-responsive.

Wonderful Dr. One of the most knowledgeable, caring, and attentive Dr.s I have come across. Recommend her highly.

My experience was her championing and intervening on a procedure on behalf of my baby brother. Her opinion, and contacting the right colleagues, gave him options that we all thought were unavailable. I have yet to meet a Dr. that showed the compassion and care throughout and after his 10+ days in the hospital, and aftercare. Dr. Uppal is the Dr. that you want for your care! We are ever so grateful for her.

When I called Dr. Uppal's office today to pay my bill from November, afraid it would go to collections, the office admin said "we do not send to collections here, you shouldn't be penalized for being sick." They are the only doctor that didn't send me to collections while I waited for my christian share plan to send money so I could pay my bills. Not only did she say that but she then discounted my bill. How wonderful to know there are doctors out there that actually want to do good for people!

The physician herself is very competent, respectful and knowledgeable. Her staff are the worst I have ever come across. They do not communicate, they do not relay messages, they do not treat clients/patients with respect, and they do not follow through on tasks. This has happened multiple times, so it is not isolated, it is a pervasive issue within her office and it needs to be addressed. The staff hangs up on me, brushes me off, and has outright lied about not receiving test results.
