Heart apt. told I was discharged, during covid 19
DR Priyankka Patnaik -MD cut me off of my anxiety medicine I've been on for 20 years and just cut me off of my clonazepam 2mg 3 times daily. Almost killed me. you are supposed to wean someone off of prescription like that not just cut them off. Also my blood pressure medicines and others were not sent on time, and I had to repeatedly call them in which they made me seek somewhere else during the covert 2. I am 70 yrs old , with all kinds of Comorbidity, and just had triple bypass surgery. I wil try to forgive them what I was put through. My name is Wayne Hallett , I believe in saying it like it is. I thank God I put my faith in Him, and believe Doctors are His tools in His hands... Outher wise I don't know how I would have made it. Thank,s for letting me tell my story... 'WAYNE'...

Impressed
This was an annual and the first time I met with this Dr. It looks like she left UBMD and now is part of General Physicians. I thought she was very good. She picked up on issues quickly. Easy to talk to. Suggested a new medication for nighttime hot flashes. Seemed very knowledgeable about disparate health issues. I would definitely recommend this Dr.

Find a new doctor
Dr. Patnaik is not one you’ll be safe with. Please reconsider.. I trusted her, all she did was downplay my issues and now due to her negligence I am seeing several specialist because of the time it took for the issue and now issues to be addressed. She kept me coming back several weeks apart to rush me out of the office and down play my complaints with several medications that had nothing to do with the actual issue. Please do your research everyone. When something does not feel right don’t let a doctor tell you your ok. You know your body, listen to it.

Shes a great doctor but the lack of communication in the UBMD office drove me away to a new doctor. I was waiting on the results of bloodwork that was going to determine if I had a serious medical condition and I kept calling and asking if they had the results and they said no. They never told Dr. Patnaik that I had called looking for them. It took me having a panic attack and phoning the doctor on call to finally get my results. I waited almost 2 weeks for those results and then after that, I had further bloodwork and it took them a week to give me those results.

Takes forever to hear back from the office and the doctor. needed a medical clearance on a patient and that took 2 weeks. on top of that it was a phone clearance and they did not fax over the medical clearance to the surgeon in time for surgery. The surgeon office called them about 2 dozen times and no response, very unprofessional office!
