I could not possibly recommend Dr Vijay any more highly. My PCP terrified me with an email telling me that my Cologuard test, which they had barely explained in the office, had come back positive. The first line of the email said, "Cancer screening test: POSITIVE" ..... They basically gave me a phone number and told me good luck with getting it checked out. Dr Vijay and her staff calmed me down, reassured me, and educated me. All things that my primary care doctor didn't bother to do. They made what, to me, seemed like a terrifying ordeal and made it no big deal at all. Had the colonoscopy with very light sedation and watched the whole thing in hi def with nothing more than done minor discomfort a few times. Absolutely amazing doctor!
