Dr. Priscilla Sierk, DO

I went to Dr. Sierk to get anti-depressants, and was experiencing suicidal ideation daily. I would show up late for some appointments, and didn't mean to, but my work was an hour away from her office and so there were a few instances when I showed up late by ten or fifteen minutes. She made me feel really bad about being late, was really cold to me, and even said "Nice of you to show up," when I walked in late one day. She also didn't remember a lot of the things I had told her and asked me questions she had already asked me and clearly didn't remember the circumstances surrounding my life. It's clear she didn't read any notes before a session. She really made me feel worse at one of the lowest moments of my life when I really needed positivity and guidance. With perspective now, I am appalled at her behavior; she fits the stereotype of a cold and uncaring psychiatrist.

Dr. Sierk is an amazing doctor. She allows you to have a voice in your treatment and is proactive in your recovery process. This is not an understatement she saved my life and my life has improved so much while under her care.

Not certain I'd live through summer. 20 years with depression, trial and error treatment, relief sometimes. I drove 2 hrs to Dr. Sierk & I've seen her for 4 years now. I can attest to her very serious commitment, creativity & kindness. She has made all the difference in my life & lives of my loved ones!

I just met with Dr. Sierk for the first time and found her to be incredibly compassionate. She was very engaged and easy to talk to. Instead of just keeping with the status quo of my previous treatment, she added some different ideas that made a lot of sense for my situation and proved she was actually listening and cared to make a positive difference in my life.
