Dr Mathews does not care about her patients. She refused to see me today because I have a cough (which is a “symptom”) even though I am an asthmatic, something she should know as my primary. Explained that I had Covid a month ago and have since tested negative (offered to show proof of a negative test too).. but she still refused to listen to my lungs, something that is very important for asthmatics. Having had and recovered from Covid so recently, there was no way I was Covid positive today. Yet I was still told that I could be “a danger to the staff” and so she did not want me in the office. Tried explaining that I am not sick, that it is my asthma acting up and I need her to listen to my lungs and advise accordingly… but she still refused. If you can’t get in to see your doctor when you’re not feeling well, why have a doctor? Disappointed in lack of concern or interest in patient care. Think she should consider a change in profession if she’s not up for the task.
