Do not go to this man he is very rude and condescending! He says he has your diagnosis figured out in the first 5 minutes him telling you how worthless you are. He states no one needs medication for anxiety it’s just part of life deal with it. He spoke badly about my former doctor who retired. Professionals do not speak badly of their peers. He says you are a mess and I am not going to clean up the mess another doctor made. Seriously, he is a psychiatrist he should know if a person feels hopeless or worthless they could commit suicide. I left his office feeling worthless and wondered how I was ever going to get someone to help me. This man should not be working in this field. He is causing more harm than help!

Awful experience with him both times I tried. After a terrible first experience where he told me all of my mental health issues were because of drug use; I returned two years later to try again. Because of insurance he was the only doctor I could see. I have been working with a counselor for two years on my diagnosis and treatment. He immediately questioned my work with my counselor, my diagnosis, and refused to prescribe me any medication arguing against my counselor and the work we’ve done. He repeatedly accused me of not listening to him. He was very argumentative and even told me “I can’t diagnose myself” simply because I brought an article about my diagnosis discussed with my counselor to help explain my symptoms and concerns with him in an attempt to prevent him from steam rolling the conversation like he did the first time. I left in tears and feeling absolutely hopeless in my situation. Would recommend seeing any other available doctor before him

He is a horrible Doctor. In May 2017, he gave my mom quetiapine, which caused Tartive dyskinesia, drug induced Parkinson's, & dementia. We got her off that & on Ingrezza. All pain & parkinsons has disappeared. We are praying that all of the dementia disappears as well. Dealing with him is a nightmare. He doesn't give straight answers, treats everyone as if they are stupid & is very sneaky. He is unwilling to work with primary care doctors, caregivers & patients. This man will not help you!!!

Terrible doctor - condescending, non-listener, rude, not empathetic, arrogant. Don't waste your time with him OR your money... Unfortunately he is just going through the motions of his profession - not helping his patients, the hospital, himself or the mental health profession.

Have been going to Dr. Attaluri for many years. He is very professional, extremely caring, honest and always shows genuine concern. He asks many questions, listens to my concerns and is very informative. I feel very comfortable with him and trust him to be open, honest and thorough.

Dr. Attaluri doesn't do blood work to see if meds are correct. His answer is I have been doing this for 20 years and Topamax is the answer. Told him of side effects and he told me I was wrong. It couldn't do that. Well with my primary care doctor's instruction I stopped the medication and the side effects have stopped. Called about side effects and had counselor send an email and he didn't respond for over a week. He told me that was becaseu

Very rude, uncaring and condescending. Does not let you talk. puts words in your mouth, and twists what you say around. Does not listen. Talks about himself and how long he has been a Dr. Seemed to have had me all figured out before meeting with me and did not care what I wanted to talk about. just deal with it was his answer. Asked if I could come back to talk and he said there's nothing wrong and learn to deal with problems in life, everyone has problems. I now go to a counselor who helps me.
