Dr. Prashanthi Yalamanchili, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Yalamanchili's for 10 years now. I recently had my annual physical and was very satisfied with the quality, thoroughness of her exam, and demeanor. I find Dr Yalamanchili's patient care, expertise, and professionalism excellent. She listens to her patients and is very concerned about her patients wellness. If I could give her six stars in this review, I would gladly do so.

Told me my Post Partum Depression was in my head and that I was overreacting to the current political climate. I almost harmed myself and my son and she tried to write me off. DO NOT SEE HER.

My wife and I (both 77) have been going to "Dr. Chilli" for about six years now, since we moved up from SoCal and needed to find a local doctor as a GP. We think that she's wonderful - we never had to wait for more that 5 minutes to get started with the nurse, and while like any doctor that spends time with their patients, if you book an afternoon appointment it can be 20 + minutes after the nurse takes the vitals and the routine pre-OV stuff before the doctor shows up. However, she takes her time with us, listens, comments, answers any questions, and we have no trouble with her accent despite my hearing issues. She's not shy about specialist referrals and isn't obsessed with holding down costs by skimping on service. We recommend her very highly.

I had a 1:30 appointment. She did not enter the room until 2:18 and that was only after I opened the door to inquire how much longer I would have to wait. Not a great thing for a sick patient. During the time with me she yawned frequently without apologizing. Her accent was very hard to understand.

I have been apart of WCMG for over 10 years. I had an apt scheduled with another doc and when I showed up to the apt I was seeing Dr. Y instead. Dr. Y did not do the best job of trying to understand what was wrong or past medical history. There were certain factors that she needed to take into consideration and didn't do that until I stated them numerous times. I do not feel comfortable nor trust her recommendations and I will not be going to her ever again.

As a new patient I was a somewhat anxious. However, I found Dr. Yalamanchili to be extremely warm in listening to my history, Having worked in the medical field, for many yrs., I find this to be a great attribute and somewhat rare in the past few yrs. I am so happy to have her as my primary care doctor. I would highly recommend her to my friends. b.parkerson
