Great Doctor
I love Dr. Kumar. He told me to do the same physical therapy exericises as were given to me by the physical therapist. He listened and looked at my medical records, scans and tests. He explained to me what my body was doing to me and how to cope. He is wonderful!

Excellent Doctor
Dr Kumar is a very caring doctor and person. He is proactive in getting you as healthy as possible and does not hesitate to refer you to outside doctors if he feels it is for your benefit. I have absolutely no problem referring him to others and frequently do.

Excellent Doctor!
I've been seeing Dr. Kumar for about 7-8 months. He did an excellent job relieving my knee pain and is currently treating me for back pain. He has a great 'bedside manor'. I usually do not like doctors but Dr. Kumar is different. I really appreciate his expertise.

Dr.Kumar was the first doctor to correctly diagnose and treat my condition after many failed attempts. Takes the time to understand and listen rather than throw meds and cover up the problem.

Dr Kumar is the best!
I was so fortunate to end up in Dr. Kumar‘s office, I have had chronic pain for years. Tried different medication‘s, acupuncture, chiropractic care, massage, etc. and never found lasting relief. Dr. Kumar’s time and attention while meeting with me helped me to believe the words that he said, “Lisa, we will find a solution for your pain. If it is not this, we will keep looking.“ That he did! I now have a spinal cord stimulator implant, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I I know have hope that the quality of my life will be far greater than it has been for the last 10+ years. Two weeks post-implant, I have some of my old energy back and I’m looking forward to experiencing life again not just getting through it. Thank you, Dr. Kumar and staff for giving me back my hope!

God no. Stay away if you value your time. Unnecessary rides, unnecessary wait times over 2 hours, inconsistent staff, inconsistent policies. Their RN is a savior but she can't fix their policies (when they stick to them) also if you have mass health you will not get surgery. He wont book it.

Appointment at 10:30 was not moved to from waiting area till 2:00 then sat in the room for another 30 min or more. Copay is $50. Do they overbook to pocket as much $$$ as possible. Had an intercostal that ended up with moving the pain from the front to the rear of the rib cage and incidentally right in the 3 spots he made incisions. The pain was intermittent but frequent prior to his surgery it is now daily as an incessant noogie. Still about the same in intensity & the front pain still comes & goes maybe less frequent or just not as noticeable as the back pain he gave me. He is also a lair. He told Disability that my stature and gait were normal. Yet on the day of the surgery not only did he & his team slow down but also stopped 3xs for me to catch up. I had perfect posture now my torso is 15-25° off to the right and my gait is about 30-40% of what it was normally. He also had an anesthesiologist there to milk insurance. Total Hack. Obviously paid by other means for his degree.

I am so thankful to have had the spinal implant surgery. I am two weeks beyond the surgery, and I feel like a new woman! I was unable to walk any distance for fifteen months. Dr. Kumar gave me back my life. He has the most compassionate staff at Saint Vincents Hospital - the pain clinic, and the surgery center. Courtney Morse from Boston Scientific was wonderful. I'm so pleased the surgery was performed by Saint Vincents Medical Group, I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

After PT didn't work like we had hoped for my back pain, my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Kumar's Pain Clinic at Saint Vincent's. I am pleased to share that Dr. Kumar helped to provide me with a LOT of relief from the significant lower back pain I was experiencing. I had lumbar nerve ablation done. It takes careful assessment to accurately locate the nerves and Dr. Kumar was right on target! This is a doctor's office with a happy and cordial staff where patients feel comfortable.
