Dr. Prabhas Gupta, MD

Be very careful with this guy. After one appointment, he ordered a prescription for me without my consent. And he did so before he even saw my bloodwork. He knew full well that I did not need or want that prescription. I was charged almost $900 for it. I never accepted the prescription and was still expected to pay for it. Upon questioning him, he became very defensive and combative. Eventually, he relented. What a headache. I would avoid this doctor. My suspicion is that he's looking to prescribe as often as possible. That's the way the system works.

He is incredibly patient, thorough, and attentive. He is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He’s on top of everything. Need labs, prescription refilled, or concerned about new lump? Whatever it is he amazes me with how quick he can help. I love this doctor. I hope I can be assigned to him for as long as possible.

I have never written a review for a doctor until today. Dr Gupta is a person who listens to his patients, offers suggestions, provides choices, and cares about his work. I was motivated to write this review because I sent a request for medical advice concerning an issue at around noon today. I received a call from Sutter at 2:45pm and to my surprise it was Dr. Gupta. In today's world its RARE to have a doctor call you directly and on a Friday afternoon. I thank him and felt obligated to share a GREAT experience with healthcare. I have been a patient of Dr Gupta's for several years and am just now writing this review. Shame on meRemember the days when doctors cared about their patients? This is Dr Gupta. So many people don't realize you can have an Internal Medicine doctor for your primary care doctor. If you have issues with any internal processing, this is where you want to be.Dr Gupta has a great understanding of the related interactions within your body. He has helped me by addressing lingering issues other doctors ignored.He is smart, kind, efficient, and has a great rapport with his team. He is easy to talk to and we communicate well. Did I mention responsive? I can always get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time and he frequently replies to my online queries on the same day. His nurse Jessica is also a joy to be around. No anxiety going to these appointments! Now, you are in on the secret but don't all ya-all start going, I don't want to wait around while he is tending to you!

Dr Gupta is by far the best doctor I have ever come across. He has excellent bedside Manner, is extremely knowledgeable and actually cares about and listens to his patients. You can tell how passionate he is about his profession when he explains things to his patients . I am so glad I have him as my primary care physician. Highly recommend !
