Dr. Poonam Soni, MD

Dr Soni is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She listens, asks questions, provides help without pressuring. I waited two years to provide this review, to see if what she prescribed worked for me. It really helped. She is a compassionate caring intelligent doctor, the best one I’ve ever been to.

Dr Soni is a very thorough physician. She genuinely cares for her patients wellness and go as far as to offer suggestions on eating healthy foods. She is caring and extremely knowledgeable and doesn’t hesitate to share her knowledge. I am grateful to have Dr. Soni as my primary care physician. I have the utmost respect for her and her husband as physicians. They are a great team and genuinely care about their patients.

Wish I could put zero stars. Shockingly poor bedside manner. Volatile personality. After witnessing my elderly father suffer her wrath, I've seen my mother have the same experience. Multiple healthcare providers (NP, PT and OT) told my mother they've heard others have had similar experiences. She brought my mother's friend to tears. I've heard her husband /medical partner is nice. I hope she finds peace and an outlet for her anger/frustration so it's no longer directed at her elderly patience.

Dr. Poonam Soni was very dismissive and impatient. She did not prescribe follow up with specialists and told me the symptoms I was having did not exist. Upon follow up with 3 additional doctors, all clearly recognized the symptoms to be associated with a disease and recommended further testing.

I worked in healthcare 40 years worst experience I ever had! I made my appointment as a new patient a month ahead of time and was told they accept my insurance. I was at the office for 2 hours having my medical history taken which included anxiety only to be told they don’t know if they accept my insurance. No apology from the Dr Poonam Soni only we will process your insurance to see if it is accepted. Very cold woman! I left there extremely upset! An office staff member was very nice seeing how upset I was. I spent at least an hour telling them my PRIVATE medical history to strangers then told if we don’t take your insurance then you can find someone else. All I wanted is I am so sorry about this mixup we will do anything we can to fix it. Not, didn’t you find out from your insurance company before you came in? I called them and they said they accepted it. Stay away from Dr. ICE! My anxiety is at an all time high had to sit in the parking lot for an hour before I could drive so upset!

Seemed like a good doctor however there is no followup. Tried to contact him 4 times about test results and he never returned my calls. He would be a good choice if you never get sick.
