Dr. Kanganis was my doctor for 20 years, until she moved her office to Long Island. This was really hard for me. Dr. K is the best Doctor I ever went to. She took the time to talk to me and make me feel at ease. (she knew I had anxiety). If Smithtown wasn't so far from me, I would have followed her. I would highly recommend Dr. K.

I would leave zero stars if I could. I was forced to make a follow up appt to get blood results and this Dr tried to talk me into unnecessary surgery. NEVER AGAIN. Go to someone else if you can. Excessive wait times and $$ hungry and impatient uncaring staff.

This is a review of her office and receptionist as well as thoughts about the doctor. Today, I called the office to see if I could get an appointment for my daughter who is experiencing a lot of discomfort and cramping and had been in this condition for about a week. My regular doctor in CT was on vacation and the receptionist there, after listening to what the problem was, recommended a doctor in Bronxville that she uses personally. I called and spoke to the receptionist, explained fully tha

Dr. Kanganis is an extremely compassionate physician. She took the time to listen to my concerns and gave a thorough explanation in terms that I could understand. Her time is well worth the wait because she will spend extra time with you to make sure all of your questions are answered before you leave her office. I would trust her to provide care for my family and friends and only have positive things to say about her care.

I liked her for a while, despite the very long wait times. And I'm talking MINIMUM 45 minutes. She made me wait as long as 2 hours once. But once you got in there she was great to talk to and seemed compassionate. During my last appointment she asked if I'd noticed any changes in my discharge and I said "yeah I guess there's been a little more than usual." A month later I discover she ran a test that cost me $75 without asking me first! That was the last straw.

Would not recommend! No stars if it was an option! Dr. Kanganis is the worst doctor that I have ever met. The few times that I have had an appointment, I had to wait an average of 45 minutes. I had to reschedule, and I was told they would code my time as a bp check not an annual physical which meant I would then have a co-pay. They are all about the money! There is so much more to say about all that is lacking about Dr. Kanganis & staff, however, I am out of characters to type. #worstdoctor

I have been going to Dr. Kanganis for over 10 years. The only reason I stuck around so long was because I had hope things might change- they never did. She is constantly double booking appointments leading to consistent long wait times no matter what. After waiting on average 45 min-1 hr I was never seen for more than 10-15 minutes. I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for personalized, thorough care.

Everything is a FEE in that office. Doesnt really care about your time or money. Her time is more important. Building long term Relationships with her patients obviously is of no importance to her. Not patient friendly.
