Dr. Polina Kagan, MD

Dr. Kagan has been my doctor since I was 15 years old, im now going on 26. She is so kind, caring, takes the time to listen, and always does her best to make sure my concerns if any are addressed. However, working in a medical practice myself i know the front desk staff is the face of the office. They represent everybody in the back including the doctors. Not one time that I have been in this office have they given me a good experience. They are nasty to patients who have questions, I’ve seen a front desk staff member belittle an older woman for asking why she hasn’t been seen on time, and have always made people feel very uncomfortable when they dispute and disrespect patients for everyone to see and hear. If you make an appointment be prepared to sit there for about an hour and a half to two hours. I wish they would revamp the entire front staff and hire people that actually care about how they present themselves and speak to patients. That is the bare minimum.

Caring and loving doctor. Delivered all three of my babies. Would never trust anyone else.

Dr Kagan has been my doctor for quite a few years. Dr Kagan is approachable, if I have any questions. She is knowledgeable and easy to reach. I’m very comfortable with her. Sometimes there is a wait to see her, but it is definitely worth it.

Dr Kagan is amazing. Love her. Be prepared to wait a while to be seen though. I do not recall ever being taken at my appointment time. However, she will spend time with you and not rush you. Rare in these times.

The ladies at the front desk are not professional. They are slow and don't seem organized Dr Kagan on the other hand is great. Answered my questions and was helpful The staff needs better training or they are gonna cost her patients

Dr Kahan. Is always on top of my health. She make sure I have my appointment for the next so I can nake my appointment early. She make you feel so comfortable. She be talking to you as she preforming her duties before you know it everything is done. She like a friend. She tell you the honest truth. That what some else need to know.

Dr. Kagan makes me feel very comfortable in my visit, she was very friendly, patience and answer all.my questions. She very knowledgeable in her area of practice, and I would definitely recommend others to her. The wait I can understand, because some patient takes a little longer. Love my experience with her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kagan's for many years now, and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any woman who is seeking excellent gynecological care. She is extremely knowledgeable, informative, and kind. Whenever I've had a medical concern, she has addressed my questions with the utmost sensitivity and compassion. I have always felt comfortable with this doctor because she has a genuinely warm demeanor, and she takes her time with each and every patient. I have nothing but the most lavish praise for Dr. Kagan, and I am supremely confident that she possesses the professional expertise that women are seeking. My experiences with both Dr. Kagan and her staff have consistently been positive, and I am happy to have entrusted her with my care.

NEVER NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE IF YOU WANT COMPETENT OB/GYN CARE. The office staff is extremely rude and sits around complaining about patients, "I hope she never calls back" while you wait in a dingy old office indefinitely. Dr. Kagan prioritizes new patients and is hoping to trap you in your pregnancy before you can switch to someone competent. She does not respect her patients' time or health concerns; no returned calls when sick and pregnant. The paperwork/filing in this office is abhorrent by the office staff and doctor herself. She wrote in my chart she had spoken to me about additional testing she recommended, but she never spoke to me. Luckily, I was keeping my appointments regularly and was able to rectify this, but it's extremely unsettling that this would be who is entrusted with the delivery of my child. I had to switch providers due to the incompetence, negligence, and overall unkind treatment of the staff and Dr. Kagan herself. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE!

Dr Kagan is very down to earth knowledgeable specialist. I have been going to her for about 15 years now. She takes her time explaining, setting expectations, follow ups, answering questions. The front end at times could be hectic but overall I am very satisfied

Dr. Kagan is very capable, she delivered my son via c-section and I healed very well. She makes sure you take all preventative tests such as mammo and even colonoscopy. Her office staff is awful on the phone. Long wait times and you have to call often for the simplest requests such as prescriptions. Love Dr. Kagan...her staff not so much.

I wanted to like Dr. Kagan. I began going to her at the beginning of my pregnancy for prenatal care. My health insurance switched and I made sure to ask her if she accepted the insurance. Without even looking at the updated insurance information she hurriedly said “yes yes I accept it”. The entire 9 months went by with her staff collecting co-pays every visit without any issue. You can imagine my shock when I received a huge bill after delivery because she was not in the network! Also, I was experiencing some strange symptoms which I googled and determined I may possibly have developed cholestasis. I brought this to Dr. Kagan’s attention and she laughed and told me that quote “only white women develop that condition”. So according to that logic, me as an African American woman couldn’t possibly have it. Still I insisted on doing additional bloodwork just to rule cholestasis out and when the results came back, they were positive! Had I not trusted myself, me and my baby would be dead.

Doctor Kagan is great but her staff is horrible. I am EXTREMELY upset with this office and I'm considering switching gyno's. My grandmother and my mother both go to this practice for I don't even know how many years. Doctor Kagan delivered me! They cant even pick up a phone, I've been trying to get in touch with them for several hours left 2 messages and no call back. How do you run a doctors office that doesn't ever pick up their phone? I just don't understand... very disappointed

I've been a patient of Dr. Kagan for years. When I started with her she was warm, caring and listened to what you had to say. Now she's all about the money. My insurance allows me 1 annual visit at no charge. As far as Dr. Kagan is concerned every visit is a co-pay. If you go into her office to get paperwork its a co-pay. I'm extremely disappointed in Dr Kagan. The office staff isn't very friendly or personable.

She is a wonderful doctor! She is kind and she has a sense of humor! I highly recommend her.

hands-down worst experience of my entire life. I miscarried and my 12 week she was abrupt when she said she didn't hear the heartbeat. She recommended a DNC and when I had to go to the hospital because the pain was so bad she made me wait 12 hours in the birth and delivery unit before they proceeded with the procedure. She blamed the hospital. Once I flipped out told her I was leaving because I cannot sit there any longer she said I was not a priority . Awful bedside manners . Use caution
