My first appt with is group was with Dr. Memo’s PA, Brian. He spent about 5 minutes with me, heard my symptoms and did what they call the finger test, touching my right SI joint area, then scheduled me for a steroid injection with Dr. Memo, two months off. I went to the surgery center and had the shot, only seeing Dr. Memo for a couple of minutes. The shot didn’t work, and I have had experience with these in my back and hip. They then ordered an mri, why not before? I had to follow up to be sure they got the records and then waited for another six weeks to finally see Dr. Memo. He spent about ten minutes with me, rarely looking at me. Then he asked if he could just record his input to me into the computer so that I could read it on the Patient site. He basically blamed my pain on my back Dr. and the fusion I had 7 years ago. He then said it was my nerves and referred me to someone do does an implant. I was flabbergasted.

*Must read*
I have a chronic lumbar injury affecting my sacral nerve and was referred to Dr Memo for a cortisone shot (ordered by my orthosurgeon and approved by my neurosurgeon) prior to scheduling surgery. Upon arriving to this appointment, I was first refused my cortisone shot by Dr Memmo, then he proceeded to tell me that i did not need the discectomy my ortho&neurosurgeons both recommended - I instead required a spinal fusion. Dr memo’s words we’re cold and included phrases such as “I’m talking screws and bolts and stuff”. This interaction caused a significant amount of stress on top of my back injury which requires surgery. I will never see this physician again. I look forward to seeing my neurosurgeon and setting out a plan of care with someone who treats me like a human being.

Everything was very rushed, leaving me feeling he had not really investigated my condition. His office re-scheduled the morning of my 3PM appointment asking me to come in "right away". When I arrived, I waited 45 minutes. During the post-procedure review, the doctor spent astonishingly little time speaking with, me examining me, or attempting to better understand my case. Most of the time his back was to me as he studied charts and X-rays. An appalling lack of connection. He then suggested I immediately see an associate for a very aggressive surgical option without allowing any time for discussion or understanding. "Just do it!". I left feeling a deep level of distrust for this doctor and his advice.

Dr. Memmo and his staff were absolutely awesome. They were so attentive to my husbands back pain. The APRN Brian was great also. I highly recommend this group for anyone who has back issues and looking for alternate methods besides surgery.

I was taken for my appointment on time. His staff is always very helpful. He listens and understands my fears, and is truly concerned about my wellbeing. If I need to be seen on an emergency basis, I am always given an appointment. Their follow-up has been much appreciated, and if subsequent measures are needed, they have always been taken.

Was seen an hour and a half late , staff doesn't care , no apologies , when I finally saw Dr Memmo , he spent about 15 minutes with me , he already knew what he was going to tell Department of Labor , apparently I need to be put in a rehab facility , I also need an intervention , and I am close to opioid depression , all this in a 15 minute appointment , only asked questions he wanted , wouldn't answer my questions . He is arrogant and I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit his practice . If you do have to go to his office , good luck .

Rude, dismissive and short with his time. Doesn't seem to believe he has to explain anything vis-à-vis his advice or diagnoses. During second appointment, I was actually rushed out of the office so he could take a phone call - right when I was explaining that I didn't understand his diagnosis. Talk about unprofessional! Don't waste your time and money with this man. You will be disappointed.

Dr. Memmo, despite collecting thousands in fees for my father's two procedures, went unseen until the last visit where he made my 80 year old dad (in pain, fragile, having trouble walking) come in for a last visit and declared, with cashmere socks on, I believe, that there was nothing he could do for him. Not even a handicapped parking pass for the kind of person whom the laws were passed

Went for a known back/neck issue. Explained to doctor that PT has done nothing in the past nor do I have the time with my work schedule. Dr. Insisted on trying PT again. 3x per week. Hello, I specifically said I work until at least 7-8 PM, 3-4 nights per week and that I wasn't able to fit that into my schedule. I wasted a morning on a doctor who didn't want to listen to anything I had to say about my health or my needs.

I picked this provider because he really helped my husband when he had a back problem. I am a very healthy female and only went to Dr. Memmo since I was hoping he could give me an injection to get me back to my normal active lifestyle. Besides having my yearly physicals, I have only seen 1 provider for a total of two visits in the last 5 years. This injury was not a work comp, auto injury or liability, I am not a drug seeker. The provider did not seem to care about my condition.
