I am very satisfied with the thouroughness of this doctor's examination. He leaves no detail unchecked. Sometimes that can be annoying because it may appears as no necessary. But when he explains, it makes perfect sense and I am glad he does all those checks.

Dr Kamguia is an excellent surgeon. He did my cataract surgery 12 years ago. I could see the very same day and my vision is still very good. I just use reading glasses for closeup. The newer implants were not very popular then. We have discussed replacing my implant but since my vision is so good and I don't mind using readers, why fix what is not broken? If I finally decide to go for it, sure I will ask him to do it except now I would have to travel to Virginia. That is what is holding me back

It is refreshing to meet a physician who is concerned about all my concerns and not just the eyes. Some of my vision problems were exacerbated by other emotional factors that Dr. Kamguia brought me to realize. He took a lot of time to really listen to me. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kamguia was very compassionate and knowledgeable. I was particularly touched by his hugging me at the end of my visit to offer hope on a condition that medically was terminally advanced with little that science had to offer for a cure. He prayed with me and my wife for God's intervention to complete what medicine could not do. It is not very frequently that one encounters this type of compassion among physicians usually in such a hurry to see the next patient. Commendable and recommendable.
