Dr. Phillip Parr, MD

I had a very good experience seeing him an ankle injury. Would recommend for diagnostic orthopedics.

Rude and dismissive, he shouldn't be allowed to see patients and treat them this way.

Horrible experience with Dr Parr, save yourself and go see someone more competent.

I was not to amazed by the doctor. He is not rude however I did not appreciate his attitude towards my issues. He told me I needed to move on with life, that I did physical therapy too long, and his line of questioning I didn’t appreciate. He said there are 10-15 fender benders a year as to belittle my situation. However my situation was not explained in detail for him to even know what happened. I said I was backing into a space, and he assumed low impact. Actually I was backing into a space on Main Street not a parking lot, and was hit a higher rate of speed. I still have pain. He said I should have only gone to physical therapy for 3-4wks and why did I go so long. Why would I go to physical therapy for fun, I went until I was released. He ask did I have a lawyer, who it was, was I taking medicine, etc. I wasn’t there to get medicine or whatever he thought. Disgusting individual. I’m still in pain today

Dr Parr is an excellent doctor he took time and explained my condition to me better than all previous doctors combined I was very satisfied with my visit today. Marie Ratliff

Dr. Parr was rude to me. He did not care to explain how my back pain could be healed or what was wrong. He left very quickly after he showed me my x-rays. In his report, he wrote that I had "some stage of dementia since I did not grasp the nature of my back pain". This statement I consider to be an insult to me because it is absolutely not true. He also wrote in his report that I was "discourteous to his office staff" because two of the staff members did not wear face masks and even though I kindly asked them to put their masks up when they talk to me, which they did not do. I will never consult Dr. Parr again and do not recommend him to anybody.

He Is a angry old man that has no bedside manner and honestly no business being a doctor. Discredited everything I told him did not even let me tell him my symptoms and told my pain was because of weight and that I should think of joining a weight loss program. Asked all his questions in a very degrading way and didn’t even care what I had to say. Basically all my pain is mental in his book. Wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone.

Will never see this man again. Rude and nasty. A black eye on an otherwise good group of doctors.

Dr Parr saw me right away because of my right knee pain and was very helpful and explained everything i needed to do. I have an ongoing knee problem due to sports injuries and was very pleased with Dr. Parr's and his staff. The MRI scheduling lady is very efficient and professional as well..

Very kind gentleman who explained all radiographic findings, made recommendations, and even provided injections for relief of hip bursitis; very satisfied with the level of care and concern, and felt that he went out of his way to take the time to explain what was causing the back and hip pain that I was experiencing. I appreciated the opportunity to see him without having to wait weeks while in acute discomfort. Also, the office staff was very kind and courteous.

Went this morning to see Dr. Parr and he was very friendly, very educational, and listened to my situation. I came in to have my knee checked out. His staff is wonderful! My appointment was scheduled for 7:45, and I was called back for x-rays after 15 minutes. Sat for less than 5 minutes in the x-ray room. The technicians were funny and made me feel comfortable. Upon going back to Dr. Parr's office, I waited for less than 5 minutes and was immediately asked questions pertaining to my knee injury

Dr. Parr was rude and condescending from the moment the first appointment began. He accused me of only being interested in a law suit in the first 1-2 minutes of meeting me. He accused me of not being in the pain I described. He continued to discount my pain throughout my treatment and called it out of proportion to my injury after referring me to a surgeon because he said there was nothing else he could do.

This a rude and arrogant old man who needs to retire but does not know how. I chose an appointment with him thinking that he might have some empathy and compassion for my lifelong painful condition called Spondylolithesis. NOPE. I was told by Phillip Parr that I was a drug seeker and if I wanted drugs "I should go buy them on the STREET" He feels free to demean you and insult your integrity without caring about the pain you have been experiencing. Find another Orthopedic Doctor !

Would not have even given one star. He is a very angry individual. Maybe burnt out due to being the primary work comp provider. Actually walked out on me saying I was complicating his life.

Very clear and detailed explaining symptoms and choices on what can be done. Nice guy and to the point. Which is great since I don't go to Dr's for chit chat. Highly recommend.

I wish this doctor would retire. He makes you feel like you are crazy for having the symptoms that you have. I have severe lower back pain. After two years at OI I have worse pain than when I started. He told me the solution was to ride a bike for weight loss but it hurts too much to ride on a bike seat. I will not recommend him to anyone.

Went with a work comp issue with pains in my wrists, I asked about an ergonomic keyboard since I typed all day at wotk. He actually asked me "what's that". You would think most educated people would take the words "ergonomic" and "keyboard" and not need an explanation. Changed to a different doc after that afternoon was happy.

very rude some what butt, i think all he does these days is scheduling so what the hellll....i like him he is a good o boy . i just hope this good o boy does the right thing...

I would not recommend this dr to anyone. He is incredibly rude and disrespectful when he speaks to you. He discredits any and all information that you give him, even when from other accredited doctors. He asks questions in a rhetorical, degrading, way as if to make you feel stupid for even being at his office. He then told me his stance as an orthopedic is to only be concerned with functional skill ability, and didn't care about the pain I experienced while functioning.
