Dr. Wasserstein is very condescending, shows little to no sympathy and gives up very easily. After three visits and a handful of tests, he told me my worsening symptoms are all in my head and literally suggested I try taking a walk. Not sure why he's still practicing.

I had some trouble over maybe two years getting s diagnosis for a neurological problem; three MRI's, two CT scans, several visits, and I was frustrated. I asked if he could at least treat my symptoms but no. On my last visit he said, almost in passing, "Maybe it's essential tremor". The signs were all there, it's not an uncommon problem, it shouldn't, in my opinion, have been a tough call. I was unsatisfied with the missed diagnosis.

Late for my appointment only to spend inordinate amount of time collecting minutiae about my condition and then ask me those same questions repeatedly because he didn't accurately record my answers. Finally declared he didn't know what was wrong with me, didn't suggest any follow up, didn't recommend any treatments or medication for my peripheral symptoms, insinuated some of my symptoms were psychological, said he was out of time and showed me to the door. Extremely upsetting appointment.

Dr. Wasserstein has treated my early-onset Parkinson's Disease for over 20 years. He is outstanding in every way (with the possible and very minor exception that he sometimes appears a little scruffy). He explains things very well, listens closely to your problems and concerns and does a remarkable job at meeting the patient at the patient's emotional and intellectual levels. I simply cannot imagine being under better care.
