This guy has no business practicing addiction medicine. He has no idea what he’s doing. Condescending at times. And also, a real weird guy. Lots of strange and uncomfortable and excessively long silences. A lot of not listening to what one is telling him. I tried getting a new doctor but he was the only one they had. If you or a loved one needs help for addiction, steer clear of this incompetent man.

Dr. Russell should be considered a hazard to patients' health. He was rude, condescending, and refused to listen to what I wanted. After talking to me for 15 minutes, he formed an incorrect narrative of my history and refused to let me correct him. He interrupted me several times as I tried to tell my story and he told me that he wouldn't call my established therapist because it would take too much time, even though he knew next to nothing of my history.
