Very Dismissive and Rushed
I have seen this doctor three times and can confidently say there will never be a fourth. I have truthfully never seen a doctor spend so little time with a patient. He spent maybe 4 minutes with me at my last appointment and COMPLETELY dismissed me. He did not even take the time to attempt to understand what I was saying and just gave me an extremely dismissive answer and walked out the door. He is soooo arrogant!! The nurse and front desk staff were awesome though.

I came in on as a new patient I had an emergency appt that i had needed because i was in so much pain.they agreed to let me come 3hrs later..I got I arrived a half hr before my apptabout 45 mins early I was in so much pain with the treatment but when i knew just from his demeanor and confidence he was the man for the job. I had been to 3 other doctor's who kept wanted to say it's OK just take these or another should change ot to something else..DR Pollice stated he know what he was doing and that I was not given the right meds for the seriousnes of the ear infections I had. Dr Pollice worked diligently and suctioned my ears out and placed wicks in them..not only did I get out of there5 minutes prior to my appt but 90%was gone in 12 hrs..WOW!!! Thank you!!! Your entire staff should be commended. If I hear of anyone looking for an ENT..I WILL BE HEADING THEM YOURWAY SIR!!!! In short thank you all who work in your office

Find someone else - ANYONE else.
The doctor is rude, short, curt and obnoxious. He called and yelled at me on the phone. I left in more pain than I came in with. On the way from his office, my ear started to hurt even more. I requested the medication / steroid. Philip called me and told me in a demeaning manner that he explained that he couldn't do that. He asked me if I was frustrated with his care - I told him that I was frustrated it took 6 weeks to see him and now it is apparently worse. He told me I was 'lucky it only took 6 weeks.' I asked him what I could do for the pain, he said 'nothing, you need to just let the eardrum heal'When his staff called to verify my next appointment, I mentioned his terrible bedside manor, and the misrepresentation of his care - It listed tools not used, and it took considerable time. Philip called me, berated me, and refused to see me because I had the audacity to call him out on his dishonesty. The next day I got a notification that he updated my notes and removed the lies

Not good. Made me feel as though I was wasting his time. Dismissed my concerns. Barely looked at me. Actually argued with me that I had illness. The nerve of this man. Who does he think he is? I will never see him again and will tell my pcp to stop referring patients to him.

He doesn't want to listen to you like other doctors. When he does ask you a question, you answer, and he takes offence! Rants and raves! I'm 67 yrs. old and never in my life have I had such a bad experience with a doctor!!!

Told me that getting shingles at a young age is relatively impossible. Said the other doctors and Er visits were wrong. Showed him pictures and said again not shingles. Told me my constant ear pain for 3 weeks means nothing. Come back in 3 weeks if it still hurts. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Spent maybe 5 minutes with me.

Arrogant
I never ever write reviews whether good or bad because I’m sure these reviews go by opinion only. But my experience with Dr. POLLICE was not a good one. I literally have a congested nose in which I cannot get any air in or out of if I get a cold or a sinus infection. I was referred by my doctor to see an ENT doctor to make sure my nasal passage is not structurally formed correctly and if possible Correction for this so that when I do have nasal congestion I am able to breathe a little better. Dr. POLLICE treated me very Nonchalant for about a five minute visit for some thing that is very important to me breathing. So no I was not impressed at all And I would not recommend him.

I had an extremely uncomfortable appointment with Dr. Pollice and would definitely encourage anyone who is reading this to find another doctor. He was arrogant, dismissive, uncaring and unprofessional. I have never had an appointment like it. I told me PCP who had recommended Dr. Pollice to never recommend him again - and I meant it.

Dr. Pollice is very rude and was not willing to listen to me when I tried to explain my symptoms and how they were completely different from illnesses I had in the past. He refused to see me when I was at my sickest and really needed help because he was scared that I might bring COVID into his office, even though I tested negative for COVID twice, and my symptoms were nothing like COVID. He even called my wife "mother" when we finally got in to see him, which is unbelievably offensive. I have had trouble getting his office to file insurance correctly as well. I am very close to leaving this practice and seeking help elsewhere. So far they have not helped me at all.

This doctors bedside manner steadily went downhill. Or did his true colors just start shining through ? Either Way it ain’t your doctor patient relationship ended today when I was nearing the parking garage at Mercy Hospital and called out of consideration to say that I’ll be about four minutes late getting up there. I have an auto immune deficiency so it tremendously difficult for me especially in mornings to be places. When I called the receptionist and said I’m gonna be a few minutes late she sounded very cheerful until she asked who my appointment was with then she went out a long oh well I’m gonna have to call over there and told me that she has a policy that if a patient is even one minute late to turn them away at his discretion of course… Personally if we’re jamming our schedule so full per volume and profit well isn’t that the UPMC will come to know and love anyway? Secondly this policy is not listed on his offices medical website or in their emails or appointment reminders

I am scheduled for a surgery in the very near future. During my office visit and telemedicine visit. Dr. Pollice was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I can say thus far. My family and I trust him. The other reviews are not matching up to what I’ve seen in person but, I’ll tell you this. He has saved lives, so well done Dr. Pollice. Well. Done!

Completely dismissed my concerns respiratory concerns that I have been dealing with for 13 years, told me that if I “have good hygiene, eat fruits and veggies, and drank water” I wouldn’t get sick. Told me “come and see me when you’re sick” when I told him I already was sick, for the 4th time this winter. Awful bedside manner, left upset and like I wasted my time.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Pollice. I’m not sure why there are negative reviews as he’s always been respectful & positive when I’ve seen him. Very responsive, too. He called me quickly with biopsy results and when I had a question regarding my healing. I’m very pleased with Dr. Pollice!

Extremely rude, rushed, and curt. Bedside manner is extremely terrible so I would not recommend to anyone. While knowledgeable, this isn't worth the disrespect. Do not plan to bring up any of your current treatment, unless you want to be advised that it's "rude to interrupt".
