Pompous god complex
Deserving of ZERO stars. The absolute worst healthcare experience I have ever encountered and that holds significant weight having dealt with quite a few from this Rothman group.

Painless
I became Dr Motley’s patient July, 2024. The procedure needing to be done usually causes me great anxiety. Dr Motley talked me thru it and made the procedure painless. I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT. I went back a few days ago (October, 2024). Same thing, pain free procedure. By the time he engaged me in a topic of conversation I’d mention the procedure was over. What an AWESOME Dr.

An injection for my Hip Groin area
I came to Dr Motley In Nov 14,’24 for an injection & needed it done Microscopically in Dec 19,’24, I haven’t had a problem since. He is very nice & knowledgeable. And said if the shot last 3 months that’s good 6 months that’s better, IF you need another shot in a year from now I’ll be glad to give it to you. It has been a little over 5 months and I’m still good no pain in the groin area where he suggested it be given. I would recommend Dr Motley. Thank you.

I have seen Dr. Motley for several different orthopedic problems and he is ALWAYS accurate in his diagnosis. He also communicates the problem and its solution and treatment very well, always taking the time to answer any and all questions. He is truly remarkable and I always feel that I’m in good hands and on the right path after seeing him.

Finally, a doctor who listened to me
He examined my hip very thoroughly, and listened to my symptoms, and ordered an ultrasound, all of which previous doctors did not do. I appreciate his abilities and helpful manner.

Excellent Care
I received Excellent care from Dr Motley for my hip replacement surgery which was difficult secondary to very advanced arthritis. He did an excellent job on both hips (done at the same time) and I had no post op complications, even leg length and a dramatic increase in daily function afterwards.

Recommend for Shoulder Issue
I’m seeing Dr Motley for a work related shoulder injury. He’s been very patient and listens to me and takes time to answer my questions, not to mention he’s amazing at giving cortisone injections. (Didn’t hurt at all). He is conservative with his treatment and has an open dialogue with his patients. Highly recommend.

Excellent Care
Dr. Motley truly cares about his patients. He listens well, asks relevant questions, and provides a thorough exam. As an added plus, he treats more than one type of orthopedic problem so no need to see more than one specialist.
