I brought my 1 year old grandson in after having him seen at another local practice and was much happier with Dr Montgomery than the previous pediatrician. I never feel rushed and feel like he listens to concerns. He has even been compassionate about why baby was behind on shots and made a plan to catch up without judgement.

Lovely, caring Dr
Dr Montgomery has seen our little boy since birth. Our son was a preemie and Dr Montgomery has always shown excellent care and compassion. You can tell his patients really matter to him. I really appreciate that he takes his time with his patients and really listens to parents. Now that our little girl has been born 3 years later he is still delivering wonderful care and we have followed him to his own practice. Thank you, Dr Montgomery!

Great doctor - My boys both loved him
We moved to Wichita in 2022 and Dr. Montgomery was one of the only pediatricians in town willing to take them on as transfers from KC since everyone else would only accept newborn babies - I called around everywhere for two days straight. He has been so great with both my boys and they always looked forward to visits with him - he has unfortunately for us just recently this month left the practice we go to. I would absolutely recommend his care and hope this review helps you look past someone who got upset over a prescription call in and actually had experience with the doctor in question.

I would never recommend Dr. Montgomery. My son has been a patient of Mid Kansas Peds since birth. His albuterol inhaler prescription ran out on a Sunday. We had the Doctor on call paged, which unfortunately happened to be Dr. Montgomery. He refused to have the prescription called in! This is a rescue inhaler and my son has had asthma since he was 7 years old. He is now 17. I am livid. This doctor should be fired from this practice. Anyone with asthma or a loved one with asthma knows how dangerous it is to not have your rescue inhaler on you! We’ve had this happen before on a twelve hour international flight on which my son had to have O2 administered three times!
