Dr. Philip Malinas, MD

I am a regular patient who started an additional therapy involving TMS. My experience has far exceeded my expectations! The staff is like family.

Very unprofessional video appointment with one of their nurse practitioners. Nurse was eating, changed rooms, yawning, and it sounded like someone was in the background during our call. When I called to provide feedback they didn't seem to care. They also only have one psychiatrist who isn't accepting new patients, so they'll make you an appointment with one of their nurses without giving you that heads up. Would not recommend at all.

My son was treated by Eric for about 1.5 years. He is super nice and expressed a real appreciation for and interest in my son. He provided crucial help for us when we desperately needed it and I can't thank him enough for that. However... at some point things began to shift and over time my input as a parent was considered less and less. Eventually the conversations became downright ridiculous with a lot of parent blaming and shaming and a complete disregard for even my son's own input. Family health history was completely ignored and when I brought it up I was met with blatant frustration and disrespect. It was a difficult choice to move my son's care to a new provider, but I'm so thankful I did! We have had a completely different experience and he is now receiving appropriate care for his needs.

He calls me back in a timely matter. He always does what he can to help even if it means going out of his way for me or my son.

I have taken my daughter to Dr Malinas for 2 years. She has very complicated mental health issues and I have total confidence in his decisions. He takes time to listen, is very empathetic, and has an outstanding knowledge of mental issues and medication. I highly recommend him!

No child should see this man as a psychiatrist.

i saw thomas and he read everything off a computer screen and never looked at me. then told me he would call later that day...called 2 days later and paid no attention to my work with renovations which could have been a lie renovations told. they lie to push drugs

I'm a patient in my 50's. My psychiatrist, Dr Yasaar died unexpectedly. I very much liked him and the care given. I never thought I could replace him. I met Dr. Malinas and after my 2nd visit to him I knew I had been blessed with the right doctor! He cares, is gifted in his field, listens to you, lets you participate in your care, and is so compassionate! You don't find many doctors like him anymore

Dr. Malinas has been kind, helpful, responsive and professional.

Malinas is a charlatan and a fraud who should have his medical license revoked. He is aloof and completely non-committed to serving patients. A family member was referred to Malinas for treatment. Following misguided and inappropriate therapy this patient had to be hospitalized for an ongoing deteriorating condition which evidently Malinas did not recognize. Worse, he was unavailable for any consultation or advice during this hospitalization, which is a breech of professional conduct and ethics.
