Analytical and compassionate psychiatrist
Telehealth
This review is long over due. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hillsman since 2015. I couldn’t have found a better psychiatrist to fit my personality. He has a unique combination of analytical ways of looking at problems/solutions while also being compassionate. I have made extraordinary strides under his care. I often reflect on what we’ve discussed and tactics he’s suggested long after our appointments. He has been a true gift to me and his profession.

Dr. Hillsman is an individual without empathy. During our first appointment, he made no effort to discuss my lifelong battle with depression and anxiety even though it was clearly communicated to him. He spent the entire appointment patronizing me for my addiction, treating me like I was a felon or a mentally disabled child, watching me sob into my hands while he sat in silence, occasionally scoffing at my emotional response to his condescending attitude.

My life is turned around because of Dr Hillsman. After the first visit which was recently I felt better. I will recommend him to everyone. One a side note he has a Hot secretary which always helps. She is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Great place to be all around.
