Dr. Varunok is a kind and caring doctor but his office secretary is disrespectful and talks down to patients. She lacks interpersonal skills and is abrasive. So much so my family will be going to a new doctor!

Dr. Varunok not only cares for his patients’ physical well-being but also takes the time to listen and understand any underlying fears, questions and financial concerns that go along with serious medical conditions.

The secretary’s first reply to me was that she could not help, really, you can’t help your patients determine a cost? I kept calling back because each recommendation was a dead end. I admit, I was frustrated but never raised my voice or in any way was harassing the secretary. The secretary accused me of harassment and hung up the phone on me! The secretary then called me back and acted like nothing happened. Dr. Varunok then called me that day and did not want to discuss the harassment issue and stated that he already wasted enough time and went on to say how busy he is. I then tried to contact Premier Medical Group administration and no one would reply back to me. Come to find out that the procedure would be a hospital co-pay of $100 a week, or $400 a month. Needless to say, I went to another doctor and they had me go to the New York Blo
