Waste of time and money
Dr Spooner is very emotionally reserved, which is not a problem. However, He was not turned in to my health care. Example: During 1 visit he asked how my blood pressure had been. I reminded him that upon his recommendation I purchased a blood pressure cuff and provided him with a written account of my blood pressure. I asked him, 'how IS MY blood pressure(!?)' I arrived to a scheduled (4/2023) appt. and was told by the office staff that I was contacted and that the appt. was cancelled. NOT the case, no one had contacted me and others that day coming in for their appts had the same circumstance, 1 patient had driven an hour that day! The office staff are incompetent & often rude. Dr Spooner ordered a CTA scan. The INCORRECT TEST was given, a different test than he ordered due to an ERROR by the office. When the results were discussed he had no insight on the findings and asked if I wanted to see a vascular surgeon. Finally I've had enough and am seeing a another Dr.

I enjoyed every minute once I got into the Pima Heart facility. I was afraid I would be late for my appointment due to the parking lot being full and people arriving just like me. Finally, a gentleman who got into his truck just as I arrived finally pulled out about 5 minutes later.

My last visit was so impressive. Dr. Spooner greeted me as well as introduced his scribe and explained what her job was. He also spent time with questions and answers for me that was impressive. Dr Spooner quickly developed a plan to check my heart condition. This is the best visit I have ever had with him and I saw how dedicated he was to taking care of any concerns that I may have. Job well done. I like the changes I saw on this last visit . I would be very happy to recommend him to anyone. He is a real gentleman as well.

Staff although under great stress considering USA status are consistently on mark. As long as you do your part with info to assist them to help you, follow through with all else is smooth. Staff are personable and there to help. They care. Waiting time 15 mins . Attending physicians are top notch. Dr Spooner excellent doctor and follow up with my circumstances thorough leaving me with direction and hope to heal. I am fortunate to have Dr Spooner and his staff by my side during these challenges.

Dr. Spooner did an excellent job of explaining what he thought was going on with me and why some additional tests were warranted. Additionally, he explained why he was able to rule out some other issues. I also appreciated him asking if I had any more questions. Then when I did ask a question and Dr. Spooner answered, he again asked if I had any more questions. So I liked how he explained his thought process for my situation and was willing to address any of my concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Spooner.

DR. SPOONER IS VERY COURTEOUS AND CARING BUT HIS OFFICE IS IN DISARRAY. AFTER GETTING SOME NEW MEDICATIONS FROM DR. SPOONER MY BLOOD PRESSURE DROPPED IN THE 84-86 RANGE. ALARMED I CALLED AFTER HOURS TO FIND THEY HAVE NO "ON CALL" DOCTORS. CALLED THE FOLLOWING MORNING ASKING FOR HELP. NO RETURN CALLS FOR 6 DAYS. FINALLY TOOK A LETTER TO HIS OFFICE ADDRESSED TO DR. SPOONER ASKING AGAIN FOR HELP. TODAY 4 DAYS LATER I FINALLY RECEIVED A CALL ASKING HOW I WAS. TOLD THEM I HAD CHANGED THE DOSAGE HE HAD RECOMMENDED. THE LADY SAID THAT WAS GOOD.
