Took the Time to Explain Everything
I was referred to Dr. Sargon because of 30 mm sized ascending colon polyp on a colonoscopy. Dr. Sargon explained what this meant in general and why another colonoscopy was needed, as well as why it had to resectioned (broke into pieces) to be removed. I was concerned because of age and a possibly related health condition. He patiently explained that the other polyps removed were all non-cancerous, but this one could possibly be pre-cancerous. Polyp ended up being non-cancerous, but to make sure no other problems developed he wanted a repeat colonoscopy in 6 months. My appointment is in about 2 weeks. His reassurance plus his patience in explaining everything (I am hearing impaired). Office was clean, staff was patient and understanding. I did not feel rushed. Questions sent through the patient portal were always answered within a day. Always treated with dignity and respect by him and his staff. I am concerned, but not overwhelmed with the upcoming colonoscopy. I trust Dr Sargon.

Would Not Reccomened
Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with this doctor minutes before being sedated for a procedure. He attempted to scold and belittle me because of schedule inconsistencies and miscommunication. I would not recommend him to anyone. I feel he lacks empathy, compassion, and professionalism.

Arrogant and Rude
I would NOT recommend this doctor. He is arrogant, disrespectful, and rude. He has no regard for the patient as a person. He went so far as to tell me... They were trying to help me. However, his demeaning tone and attitude felt more like he was trying to make me feel like a burden.

Dr. Sargon could not be bothered to inform my father he had Pancreatic Cancer upon review of test results until his 1st appt sch 2 wks later. He could not work my Dad into his sch & spare us extra worry. A Dr at Lutheran Gen conducted testing confirming the cancer. Not that Dr. Sargon's 2 week's would have made a difference-my Dad still died this year. However, to me, Dr. Sargon & his office staff lacked empathy & compassion. Two wks may be policy, but is an eternity watching suffering.

If you want skill, experience, great judgement and insight from your gastroenterologist, Dr. Sargon is for you. He has done seven endoscopy/dilations and biopsies on my esophagus to open up a stricture; big success that saved me from having to go through more invasive and risky surgery.

His communication is very bad and I do not recommend to anybody. When he did the procedure on me he had no common courtesy to call me and explain about the procedure
