Dr. Peter Rossi, MD

I am very sad to leave such a good doctor a bad review, but his office staff in the Bayonne office is bad at their jobs. I had a disagreement with the receptionist that my secondary insurance covers the copay from my primary insurance. I explained to her how to do her job and bill it to receive payment, which I should not have had to do. She ignored everything that I said and called my primary insurance to confirm that I have a copay balance due. She did not understand that the call should have been made to my secondary insurance to see that they do in fact cover the primary copay. After she continued to demand a copay, I had to cancel the appointment and leave the office. I feel that double billing a patient for money that is covered by insurance is wrong.

Dr Rossi was very professional during my surgery and did a wonderful job repairing my Achilles tendon . Dr Rossi is a great surgeon definitely ***** 5 starsOnly issues I have w his practice that his secretary in Bayonne office wasn't very helpful to get me a follow up appointment and just wasn't interested in helping me at all totally unprofessional and uncaring of Dr Rossi's patients Bill DPatient Dumont Office

I called this Dr.for a home visit and was told I would have to wait 5 months for the next available appointment! Why would he be so horribly backed up? Makes no sense.

Dr. Rossi is extremely nice. He knows what he is doing and explains everything step by step. The only downside is his front desk staff at the Dumont office, they are very rude when answering the phone and don't sound professional. They also arn't familar with insurance when it comes to payments but other then the front desk, Dr. Rossi is highly recommended.
