Dr. Peter Ostergaard, MD

Dr. Ostergaard was extremely knowledgeable and upbeat. I went to see him to get a second opinion after receiving what seemed to be a death sentence due to my arthritis pain. Dr. Ostergaard gave me many treatment options and I really appreciate that he is conservative when making suggestions. I was previously seen at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush and was told I needed to quit my job and felt like my life was over. I am grateful to find a provider that is willing to be supportive and make feasible suggestions to manage pain while being able to prolong my longevity at work.

I had a bump (turned out to be a tumor) on my finger for many years that had grown and gotten more invasive, I was able to get in to see Dr Ostergaard right away, and 6 weeks later he removed it. I was awake during the surgery and Dr Ostergaard was very attentive and explained the procedure thoroughly and was very precise and so efficient. I had a follow up two months later and my finger is completely back to normal, very little scarring in fact you have to look hard to find the incision at all. I am so happy I had it done and would recommend Dr Ostergaard to anybody.
