Dr. Peter Mazolewski, MD

Today is my 1 year anniversary of surviving Sepsis. After a ‘routine’ appendectomy with Dr Mazalewski I was sent home with pain pills & told to rest for a few days. No follow up call, no checking in, nothing. Days 4, 5, & 6 I was in the worst pain of my life & every single call to him/his office went unanswered & unreturned. Countless calls. Countless voicemail messages. Day 7 my message was angry & desperate & that’s when someone random from his office finally called me back & told me to take more pain pills. That was their only advice. My wife was out of town but thank god over the phone she heard in my voice that something was terribly wrong & forced me to go to the ER as she scrambled to catch a flight home. In the ER I was seen immediately & admitted immediately, that’s when I knew I was in trouble. I went into septic shock that next morning. I would soon be told that if I’d waited 1 more day I’d be dead. Do yourself a favor & please find a more professional surgeon.

Dr. "Maz" operated on me twice in summer of 2014, for hernia repairs, 2 inguinal and 1 femoral. He allowed me to decline general anesthesia in favor of a spinal block. I prefer to be conscious when possible. So while he and his surgical team did their work on me while I was under the effect of the epidural, I listened to an Audible book using earphones... I was so very impressed with the MAZ TEAM that I said so right there as they operated! LOL Dr. Mazolewski is a great guy you can trust.

Dr. Mazolewski is a great doctor & surgeon. I'm a nurse, I've worked with plenty of doctors that I don't trust. I went in for emergency gallbladder surgery and it was seamless. Dr. Mazolewski kept my husband informed, wrote orders in a timely manner, answered all my questions, talked to me before the surgery and discharged me at the appropriate time. I am home now, post op day 4. I have virtually ZERO pain and my incisions are healing nicely. I highly recommend Dr. Mazolewski!

What can I say? This man saved my life. His skills as a trauma surgeon is the reason I am around. After surgery, he followed my case even when I was not being given care directly by him and advocated for me. When I needed additional surgery, I went back to him and my earlier experience was validated. I hope you never need his care but if you do, you will not find better hands to help you
