Dr. Peter Macfield, MD

I have seen Dr. Peter for several years and truly appreciate his intentionality and thoroughness when it comes to patient care.

Dr. Macfield is a very intelligent and thoughtful Dr. He is thorough and also has a great bedside manner. Would definitely recommend him! His staff is also very good.

Dr, Macfield is the best family Doctor I have ever had. He takes the time and listens to you and even lets you be involved with all your health care decisions, he is not arrogant, he is kind, caring, thoughtful and is a wonderful Doctor. I do not want to ever have to pick another family Doctor, as he is the best period! I recommend Dr. Macfield to all my family and friends. Dr. Macfield’s response to patient advocacy is appalling. I was not scheduled a necessary follow-up for a prescription refill. When the prescription lapsed, my calls were not returned for 3 business days. When I finally reached someone, 3 more days of calls had to ensue and it was a further week before the issue was resolved and my prescription was refilled. At NO point during this debacle was I ever rude to anyone involved, though I did express that I was frustrated and did not understand why I was slipping through the cracks and being ignored time and time again. Their solution was to promptly DROP ME AS A PATIENT WITH NO FURTHER EXPLANATION. I've found Dr. MacField's ego to be quite large as he often spoke over me, did not actually listen to my concerns, and his office continually demonstrated exceptionally poor patient care with last minute cancellations, countless unreturned emails/phone calls, etc. Instead of working w/ the patient, the solution was drop the patient. Horrible.

Dr. Peter Macfield is incredible! He has a way of seeing the WHOLE person. When I see him I can tell that I am more than merely a patient with a time slot to see him. He sees beyond my symptoms, he asks me questions, and allows me to not only participate, but to LEAD in my health care decisions. His kindness and care give me confidence that he wants what is best for me not only in regards to my health, but in life. Plus, he has a great sense of humor! We need more docs like him!

Terrible office staff! Filthy offices. Never vacuumed in the 6 weeks I was coming and goiing in the office during our switch in April. Left the office after 6 wks after office staff lied and mishandled our situations and both doctors refused to call m e back about medical and non medical issues. Still waiting for communication. Worst experience with doctors ever. If you ask too many questions they don't want to work with you. Beware this office and staff do not care about you as patients.

Dr. Peter is so knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. I highly recommend him for a family dr or if you are in need of more in depth help with your hormones.

Dr. Macfield is a fantastic physician. He is thorough, kind, and personable. I have never felt rushed by him and feel like he listens to my concerns. He has gone above and beyond what many other physicians would do. I have recommended many family members and friends to him and his wife (pediatrician).

Dr. Macfield took the time to get to know me and my whole life situation. I appreciated his time and expertise. He seems to have a holistic view of medicine.

Dr. Macfield is extremely thorough in his check ups. He's discovered things that I know for a fact my previous, less thorough GPs would have missed. I also like that he's willing to consider a wide-range of solutions for any ailment you may be dealing with.
