Great ophthalmologist!!
Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The nurses were very kind and comforting. I traveled from Corpus Christi for this procedure and I'm so glad I did. They were very accommodating. The anesthetist was friendly and took the time to help me relax. Dr. Lam is so kind and pleasant. I highly recommend this group.

Cataract review
Dr. Lam did cataract surgery on me. Everything went smoothly. I had no pain and I can see again! I don't have to use any glasses anymore even though I wore them since I was in school.

The staff at Victoria eye Center is pathetic I've been unable to get a staff member to call me back after over 1 week and four messages left to schedule a cataract removal which you Dr lam are responsible for me I'm suffering needlessly so I suggest you get ample time to follow up with your staff

Questionable
Dr Lam did a pterygium removal on both eyes, one at a time. The first eye grew back within 6 months, in addition to having scar tissue. The second eye has not grown back. There is significant irritation in both eyes but he isn't doing anything to fix the problem. Every time we go in he has a different suggestion for the cause. First, maybe it is caused by puffy eyes, the next time he suggested it was caused by rosacea, the next time he suggested it was caused by leprosy! The next time he said it needed surgery from a plastic surgeon to tighten the skin around the eye. Each time though the only thing that actually gets done is 'come back in 2 months'.

Dr Lam is awesome!!!
Dr Lam was the first person to discover what was wrong with my my eyes!!! He saw that I had scars on both eyes from old eye injuries and that this was causing my astigmatisms!!! Dr Lam did an awesome job of removing the scar tissue!!! I am looking forward to seeing clearly after my cataract surgery!!! I would highly recommend Dr Lam!!! He is the BEST in my book!!!

Very good experience.
Even though this is a large facility, you still get that personalized attention that you would expect from a single Dr. Facility. There are also short wait times at all stages of treatment. They are very efficient.
