I am a former patient of many years with Dr. Kachavos and thought he was the best doctor I had ever had. Instead of testing his way to an answer as his first step to a diagnosis, he actually asked a lot of questions and utilized his training to get to the bottom of a problem, initially. Tests would follow. He was smart, thorough, and did not give up. He correctly diagnosed a problem in a friend of mine that stumped doctors at Mass General! He is that good. I wish he hadn’t moved.

Without reviewing patient history he came in and refused treatment options. Incompetent.

Dr. Peter G. Kachavos "inherited" me as a patient from my former Primary Care Professional (PCP) who retired in December of 2018. I had no expectations about what to expect from a new Doctor, but Dr. Peter G. Kachavos was awesome.
