Top Doc!
I have been going to Dr. Jacobson off and on for years, he is a wonderful Orthopedic, listens, and gives the least painful cortisone shot ever. He cares I have always heard great things about his surgery. He would be the first I would consult when the time comes.

Bad knee
I was able to get an appointment immediately. After an X-ray to determine treatment, Dr Jocobsen solved my knee pain.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jacobson for many years I find him to be extremely thoughtful and patient. He has always been willing to help and always remembers me and my chart. He does not have to fumble through paperwork trying to get reacquainted with my case he seems to truly care about me as a patient. I would highly recommend him.

Very helpful
My sciatic nerve has been bothering me a lot several doctors told me it was because of my back or that I had bursitis. But after x-rays and a talk with the doctor we found out exactly what the problem was. He took care of my pain quickly!!

Outstanding Orthopedic Surgeon
I have had the unfortunate privilege of having to have an arthroscopic procedure but the care team at Orthovirginia are phenomenal! Great bedside manner and patient support!! Dr Jacobson & Dr Versage are amazing men. The practice is very clean and well maintained and all the nurses and all front staff are excellent with their care of the patients. I have seen patients who have been very rude to the staff but they always keep a smile on their faces and keep their professionalism!! I’m almost sad to be done with them.

Outstanding visit yesterday!
I have had occasion to use Dr. Jacobson’s skill as a surgeon before when he operated on my left knee ( not a replacement) several years ago. Yesterday l was in consultation with him for my left hip. He determined l did not require surgery, but we are going to try medication for my pain. He was very professional and was anxious to help me take care of my problem. I would happily recommend Dr. Jacobson to everyone needing orthopedic assistance.

Our Go-To Orthopedic
We had Dr Jacobsen as our family orthopedic for 30 years. He is very pleasant, funny and genuine. Not only did he do my successful partial knee replacement he also did both my parents knee replacements, my mothers hips replacements, both my brothers knee replacement and he recently did my brothers hip replacement last year. We are all back golfing, hiking and enjoying our daily lives. I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my health. Thank you Dr, Jacobsen and your wonderful PA Charlie.

I enjoyed the visit. After Dr. Jacobson manipulated my arm in numerous positions it felt somewhat better. I was able to bend and lift in areas I couldn't before. Waiting to get my MRI and make another appt with him.

First Visit To OrthoVirginia
Dr Jacobsen was my provider. Very nice, was happy with his approach to my shoulder. He has a since of humor which is always a plus. Professional and would highly recommend. His staff was awesome. Very polite and professional. From check in, X-ray and medical records review was fast and efficient. Building was clean and parking area is huge.
