Not all Drs. have your best interests at heart. I researched & found Dr. Hoekman on my own due to Thyroid issues that were getting worse rather than better. I referred myself & made an appointment. My previous FP dismissed me from the practice due to seeking a 2nd opinion, as he hadn't ordered blood work in over a year & he refused to even with my major issues & concerns. Dr. Hoekman is PHENOMENAL, thorough, & he not only listened to my concerns, he believed me. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Recently I had a large thyroid nodule that needed a biopsy. I was very fortunate that the biopsy was benign. I would highly recommend Dr. Hoekman because of his caring and experience in the ent field. He explained everything very carefully to me and I felt very confident in his expertise. Thank you Dr. Hoekman and his staff for making me feel so comfortable. I can only imagine how wonderful he would be with children patients.

Dr Hoekman has a personality and expertise which made for an amazing change for my husband. In November of 2015, he performed a Cochlear Implant surgical procedure. His patience and understanding as well as explanation in laymans terminology helped greatly in our decision to proceed. It is great being able to undergo this procedure locally in Holland Michigan. Programming is done in the office by Grace Lee, Audiologist. We highly recommend this team @ Lakeshore Health Partners ENT
