Dr. Peter Golden, MD

Dr. Golden and his staff are the most unprofessional staff of people I’ve ever had to deal with. My son on his very first scheduled appointment had to sit and wait for two hours until he was seen. Their policies and procedures regarding prescription refills state that they may respond to your email within 48 hours and refills may take up to one week to fill. No one EVER answers their phones. Forced to always leave a voicemail. The last straw for me was when my son ran out of pills for over a week and I expressed, via email, the urgency of the situation and instead of filling the prescription I got a lengthy email from Dr. Golden admonishing me for the tone I used in my email request. Do yourself and your family a favor and find another doctor that actually cares about his patients.

My child was diagnosed with major depressive disorder, had attempted suicide. After release from hospital, we met with Dr. Golden. At our first meeting he changed her meds, & we set up follow up for one month. Four days after the new meds, she felt really bad. I called his office on Monday morning. The recording said someone would get back to us within 24 business hours. Two days later she attempted suicide and we went to the ER. The office (NOT the Dr.) called FOUR DAYS later. UNACCEPTABLE.

Excellent doctor. Takes the time to listen to concerns of both the child and the parents. Highly recommend.

I was diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder about 5 years ago. I was being treated by another doctor and tried every medication you can think of, different combinations of medicine and I just kept getting worse with my symptoms. After a a couple years, I looked for another doctor. I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Golden. Within a month I was stable. He just made some tweaks and changed the release on some of the meds. I have been 100% stable since. That was over 2 tears ago. He saved my life.

He is absolutely amazing. I was having severe panic and anxiety attacks several times a day. After about 4 appointments with Dr. Golden and some tweaking of my medication, my anxiety is under control. Would highly recommend him.
