Dr. Peter Gabos, MD

Dr. Gabos has taken care of our daughter from age 5 through her spinal fusion surgery at age 14. I can't imagine anyone receiving better care than from Dr. Gabos and his entire team at Nemours. She actually looked forward to her visits every 6 months. Everyone we saw was professional and helpful; we never waited more than 5 minutes for any appointment or procedure including radiology and casting with Lawall for her braces. Her treatment ended in surgery which we were anxious about but so grateful that Dr. Gabos would be handling it. He was outstanding and so was the entire staff at the hospital. Truly, I thank God for the wonderful care she received and wish everyone facing this diagnosis will receive the same excellent and compassionate care.

This doctor worked on my son over 13 years ago and I still say one of the best

My teenage son saw Dr. Gabos in regards to his scoliosis. After numerous an appointment Dr. Gabos advised the only way to fix my child’s curve was surgery. The entire time throughout this Dr. Gabos was extremely approachable and helpful. My son had his surgery and left not even 24 hours after waking up. The best part was Dr. Gabos saying he would take care of my son just like he was his own. This was just prior to taking him back to surgery. I honestly wish there were more doctors/surgeons or better yet just people just like Dr. Gabos. What a wonderful and nearly perfect human being.

I had scoliosis surgery years ago, and I still talk so highly of Dr. Gabos and this hospital. Dr. Gabos is fantastic, and so good with young patients too. I was around 13 at the time of my surgery, and he always made my family and me feel comfortable with a less then desirable situation. I will always recommend him so highly because of this.

Dr. Gabos is truly an expert in his field. He walked us through every step of the evaluation, operation, and post operative care of my son's anterior/posterior spinal fusion which he completed with a team of highly skilled physicians he had gathered to assist him. He is superb onboth personal and professional levels. We are forever indebted to him!

My daughter had a spinal fusion for scoliosis by Dr Gabos this past summer. As upsetting and scary as a major surgery is, Dr Gabos took every effort to alleviate our fears. He spent much time explaining the surgery and his knowledge and compassion was comforting. I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr Gabos and DuPont hospital. I would recommend him highly to anyone.
