At 65, I had a leaking mitral heart valve repaired by Dr. Dyrud who did an excellent job explaining the procedure, what the options were and what to expect afterwards. An echo-cardiogram done several months after the procedure showed the repairs to be 100% effective and feel much better now that the valve is not leaking any more. While recuperating, had some volunteers come to the hospital and one of them had a bypass operation 20 years before that was also done by Dr. Dryrud and he has been perfectly fine ever since. Hat's off to Dr. Dyrud.

In 1995, I suffered a heart attack at the age of 36. Dr. Dyrud performed a quintuple bypass surgery to correct the situation. I am still healthy and my heart is in great shape. My current cardiologist made a comment that he has never seen a patient, who 22 years after undergoing bypass surgery, has shown absolutely no sign of blockage. He stated that my surgeon had done a brilliant job. Thanks to Dr. Dyrud and his staff for his brilliant work.
