The Best
This doctor is the best. He is also the top person for electrophysiology. Vast experience. When you get to know him he is a very warm and compassionate person who takes his work very seriously. Your welfare is his top concern. Sometimes there are staff issues, but over 25years we both have found it easy to work with the staff if you have a good attitude. He has kept me alive for a very long time and is now doing the same for my husband.

The doctor is fine- The office staff, however, is a n o t h e r story! Upon calling the office for a very scary and intimidating diagnosis for a loved one, I unfortunately encountered a very rude, unprofessional, non-caring person named "S H E R R Y/ S H E R I". I had to call back days later because of lack of information from the previous call, and I assumed that maybe the other day she was having a "bad-day" N O P E everyday is a BAD DAY with "S H E R R Y/S H E R I" Any physicians "front line personnel" I would expect to be caring, polite, compassionate and open. This is N O T the case w i t h "S H E R R Y/S H E R I" SO if you want a rude, snippy,B A D for the H E A R T character please visit this office as S H E R R Y won't D I S A P P O I N T in that regard! I wouldn't put my loved one through that experience we'll go elsewhere! CHEER up SHERRY, or give your seat up to an individual who is professional, caring and kind! REMINDER : YOU ARE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD- SHERRY!

Husband had heart surgery this month. We can’t give Dr. Chang- Sing enough praise. He explained the procedure in detail during our first appointment. His team of nurses were professional during the operation and after. We would and have recommended Dr Chang-Sing to anyone with a heart condition.

Flat affect, very unengaging manner, unaware of my history, flipping back-forth thru my chart. Asked standard ?s then "How many heart attacks have you had?", looked puzzled when I said "none". Asked again. I replied "I've never had heart attack". More flipping pages & curt reply "Sir not trying to confuse you". More ?s & then stated my heart function based on recent Echo Cardiogram, had improved, now 60%, so better. I said "no, has decreased", looked again & repeated "no has improved". I said "no, per cardiologist it has decreased". More flipping & finally "oh, compared to your prev Echo CG, has decreased." Recommended HybridMaze surgery. Post surgery, office called to schedule follow up visit. When I arrived, I wasn't on their calendar & staff denied she had called me, said they never scheduled post-op visits. He did see me. Said EKG showed I was in "flutter" & needed a cardioversion before he did the ablation. Too uncomfortable to continue with this doc, so switching to another.

My first meeting with Dr. Chang-Sing was 10 years ago in the ER at Memorial Hospital where my husband had driven me from Ft. Bragg. For 2 days I had an especially abnormal heartbeat so I needed to be seen by a professional. It was my lucky day as Dr. Chang-Sing was on call in ER that day. He showed so much compassion, concern and knowledge during my 2 day stay. I continue to visit him on a regular basis...and that same compassion, concern and knowledge is always shown. An excellent doctor.

I recently had a cardio cryo- ablation proceedure with Dr. Chang-Sing and his team at Memorial Hospital. Prior to the proceedure I was having A-fib several times a month that would last as long as 1-2 days. I am now 2.5 months post-proceedure and have not had any A-fib. Dr. Chang-Sing was recommended to me by my Cardiologist. From start to finish I couldn't be more pleased with the results and the kind, professional treatment I received by Dr. Chang-Sing, his surgical team, & hospital staff.

Dr Peter Chang Sing is one of the finest doctors I have known. He literally saved my wife's life by properly diagnosing her low blood pressure condition and recommending, then inserting, a pacemaker. My cardiologist consults with Dr Chang Sing regularly regarding my atrial fibrillation and my low platelet condition prior to my aortic heart valve replacement and bypass surgery. He is a wonderful cardiologist that my wife and I would trust with our lives, and have.

I consider Dr. Chang Sing to be very knowledgeable and I do my homework when it comes to health care. He is professional, thoughtful and extremely competent. You don't get a lot of face time and he is not one to hold your hand, if that's what you are looking for but he is a true clinician and that is what you need most in a electro-physiologist. No decision or procedure has a 100% success rate but I will take his training and 31 years of experience any day of the week.

I HAD A CARDIO-ABLATION DONE BY DR.CHANG-SING. DURING THE PROCEDURE THE RIGHT PHRENIC NERVE WAS PARALYZED CAUSING THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY DIAPHRAM TO BE PARALYZED. HE CLAIMED NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR THIS AND THIS CAUSED A LONG DELAY IN DETERMING THE ACTUAL CAUSE. I AM NOW DISABLED FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.

I initially saw Dr. Chang-Sing in an emergency situation resulting in a pacemaker . I subsequently saw him for a catheter ablation to deal w/atrial flutter. He's a good technician. His followup care is horrible. Don't expect him to spend much time w/you or really be on top of your case history w/him. Concerns / questions will be put off to someone else when it seems clear that with what he should know about you based on your previous contact with him , he could answer if he cared.
