Changed my life
I had sinus surgery in 2005 to remove a polyp but felt no relief in fact the infections got worse. Dr. Catalano was recommended to me. I had a second surgery in 2008 after his thorough evaluation. For the first time, my infections ended, and I could actually breath deeply.

Dr. Catalano and his team specially Dr. Gopu were exceptionally great and patient when explaining my treatment plan and answering my questions. My sinus surgery went great and thanks to Dr. Gopu for answering all my concerning question that I had afterward. She and Dr. Catalano made my recovery a speedy one. She had an excellent approach and come demeanor that had made me at ease when I was under their care. Thanks again and I highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Cocky arrogant Doctor who thinks he is the best as he comes into the room chomping on a wad of gum...unfortunately he is not. He talks a good game but doesn't provide good service. Mistakes were made in my treatment /surgery and follow ups. I would avoid this ENT and hospital altogether, it was a horror show !

I would never recommend Dr Catalano to anybody else. I felt that I was being pushed to schedule a sinus surgery without any consideration given to other approaches. The office performed allergy tests on despite the fact that I had told them that I was on Benadryl. Finally, I have tried to get copies of my test results from Catalano's office for over a month without success. I did receive over $1000 worth of bills and a collection call on those bills very promptly!

I was referred to Dr Catalano by our orthodontist Dr Walker. I have always had a hard time falling asleep, snoring, and been a loud breather. I took medication daily for allergies and always felt completely exhausted by early afternoon. I had sinus surgery for deviated septum and opening my sinuses. I feel like a different person. Not only have my symptoms disappeared, but I also have not taken any allergy medicine since! My daughter and huband also had the surgery with the same results!

Three years ago, Doctor Catalano's work brought to an end medical problems that started in a different ENT's office, in a different city. He also introduced me to sinus rinsing. I believe that a lot of myringotomies currently being performed ~ including the two I had before I met Dr. Catalano, one of which left the eardrum punctured ~ could be avoided if doctors would start treating fluid behind the eardrum from the sinus side first. Anything else really is crazy.

Dr. Catalano is an amazing Doctor. I found him thru an orthodontist named Dr Alkhoury who originally diagnosed my son with having apnea and obstructed airway..He recommended Dr Catalano. He explained everything to my 10 year old promising him how gentle of a procedure he would need and he showed us in detail where the problem was. I was amazed instantly that first night hearing my son get air from his nose and he's sleeping better and not stuffy all the time. thank you for fixing my boy.

He did a upp with only a promising prognosis on what the expected results would be. 5 years later, while my sleep apnea levels have gone down, the resultant tightness and gagging feeling that is always present in the back of my throat, has caused extreme discomfort and irreparably altered the quality of my life for the worse. Going back in for consultations to address my pain and discomfort - I was told it was just reflux and all would be fine -- he just didn't care.

I had a blocked sinus and deviated septum. Dr Catalano supposedly had a non invasive procedure to deal with both. Now 3 years after the procedure not only am I still struggling to breath, I need cosmetic surgery to put cartilage back in my nose that he carelessly removed. My nose is actually collapsing because of his procedure! To top it off, the ENT Dr I just saw told me the opening in my nasal passage is small, hence the reason I can't breathe well! I am over sixty, and have chronic sinusitis and severe obstructive sleep apnea disorder. Dr. Catalano has performed sinus surgery to help me several times since 2010. He and the team he teaches have dramatically improved my quality of life. I don't ever leave his clinic without clear answers to my many questions, and the frequency and severity of my sinus infections has fallen by %90 while the quality and amount of sleep I get is far better than I thought possible. Highly recommended!!!
