Dismissive and not up to date
He spoke to my father and ignored me (I am a grown woman). He dismissed medical data as false (it was not and was clearly written down). He made me feel uncomfortable.

Excellent service
Dr. Brennan and his nurse always know who I am and when my colonoscopy is complete they show me images of the procedure. He is very thorough, careful and takes his time with the colonoscopy.

Dismissed
This doctor spoke to my husband and ignore me, even though I was the patient. He told me that if my symptoms of chest pressure and indigestion continued to go to the ER. When I asked him what they could do, he responded, 'I don't know' and walked out of the room. I felt dismissed by this doctor. That being said the front desk, the nurses and PAs esp. Rachel Ayer went above and beyond to listen to me and take my concerns into consideration. Because of the nurses, staff and PAs I give them 4 stars, the physician deserves 1 star.

I was given an in-person appointment only a few days after they received my referral. I dealt mostly with Rachel Ayers, NP, who was excellent. All of the staff were friendly. I was listened to; my questions were answered fully, a course of treatment was implemented and a follow-up appointment scheduled. I was very happy with this office.

I had an endoscopy to explore 10 years of acid reflux and abdominal discomfort. I am an otherwise healthy 35 year-old male. Dr Brennan didn’t do my intake, didn’t know my chart, and didn’t do my follow up (5 weeks later). The PA was 40 minutes late to my follow up, during which she said there was nothing wrong and recommended that I not eat dinner in close proximity to bedtime. Dr Brennan lacks the creativity, attention and care necessary to handle complex and frustrating diagnoses. I do not recommend this practice.

Dr. Brennan listened to me and did testing on me and found out that taking a prescription for many yrs. at up the lining of my intestines. After my diet and med dosage was changed I was fine.

Completely dismissive. I felt vulnerable and invaded. Did not listen to me at all. (On-call doc over weekend. I have never met him before.) Attached to one statement I made thinking he understood my 25yr long journey with crohns & present situation and he carried on with the wrong path of inquiry. Was convinced he knew what I needed. I am beyond grateful for the nursing, PA and other doctors in this practice. But I will never work with him again.

Dismissive of my concerns and questions. Impatient and irritable. Said that my symptoms were not related to my procedure (they were, and that was confirmed by my GP who recognized it as a common problem... surprising that Dr. Brennan said he had never heard of the correlation). Not attentive to unique considerations for female patients. All staff and nurses were terrific.

He's very knowledgeable, and very pragmatic. If you talk to him, he will engage, so the key is to tell him your concerns. His treatments have always been consistent with what I am willing to try, he is quite open to finding a mutual path toward a goal.
