Dr. Peter Bouz, MD

During my first visit Dr. Bouz spent nearly three quarters of an hour explaining to my husband and me exactly how he was going to treat my condition. Taking into account my age--late 70's--he assured me that he was confident of the success of the surgery--alleviating severe pain running down my leg caused by a compressed nerve in one of my vertebrae. Naturally, I was apprehensive--invasive procedures on your spine cannot be considered without some fear, but Dr. Bouz reassured me and I left his office absolutely certain that I wanted him to proceed with the surgery.Now, nearly 5 weeks after the operation, my back, the site of the surgery is nearly pain free, and the leg pain is gone.Incidentally, I didn't need a cane, a walker or a wheelchair at any time after the procedure, much to the amazement of the nurses and physical therapists who came to my home to check up on me.

Dr Bouz took my husband’s case when others could not—a tumor on the brain stem. Dr Bouz was thorough with explaining options, ensured we understood the treatment options, was a cheerleader when necessary and showed care and concern for the patient and family. Outstanding in every way.

Very good, he performed a 7 hour plus surgery on my parent last year.

I am so glad that Dr Bouz was at the hospital the day they brought my daughter in ,she had a hemorrhagic stroke they didn't expect her to make it .but Dr Bouz, was willing to try and God used Dr Bouz that day because my daughter is recovering. He is an amazing doctor he cares,, very kind. We are just thankful that he was there that day

I've never had a surgeon sit down with me and explain my symptoms, and show me on my scan where my symptoms are coming from. Then he explained the surgery to me. So helpful!
