Rude and Arrogant
Dr. Borden rushes through every appointment I’ve had with him. He’s extremely rude and short when he talks to you and when I ask questions he answers me like I’m an idiot and I should already know the answer. He is also contradictory in the information he tells me. My very first post surgery appointment he asked if I was doing 300 leg lifts per day and I said no I just came out of surgery two days ago and he told me I needed to be doing them like yesterday. The next follow up session he told me I should be riding the stationary bike for 30 minutes with a resistance at no higher than a three then the appointment following that he tells me I should’ve been writing the stationary 1 bike with a resistance at a 10 or 12.

The rudest, meanest doctor ever!
My ROM is and still is improving and so fast too! I continue to do the exercises PT taught me, 2 or 3 times a day. I have seen this guy a couple times, this was my last. He looks at my MRI report and said I probably tore something? I have all 4 MRI reports, and nothing says I tore anything! He says PROBABLY? He is just GUESSING?? He raises my arm, lets my arm fall to my side says, THIS IS NOT BETTER!! YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO GET BETTER!! YOU NEED TO EXERCISE EVERY 20 MINUTES! YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ME; MY DEGREE IS MUCH BETTER THAN ANY PHYSICAL THERAPIST! He has NEVER MEASURED me EVER! He was SO ANGRY I was not EXERCISING EVERY 20 MINUTES! HE CHEWING ME UP ONE SIDE AND DOWN THE OTHER! I am shaking and crying tears, why are you being so horrible?? I am getting better! NO, YOU ARE NOT! He looks at me crying, throws my patient folder down and says THIS APPOINTMENT IS OVER!Can't believe he treated me like this! Most horrible doctor I have ever seen in my life!Don't go to him!

I would not recommend this doctor I have been here over several times for different injuries and Borden is not pleasant. He has dismissed my mental health when I told him over and over I suffer from anxiety. He has been more than rude and pushy on surgery for almost every injury when I come in after he sees the MRI results. He is very bi polar it seems and told me that he does not like patients telling him what to do and that I quote "I have had 13 year old girls sit still and be good girls during visits and procedures." He has made me feel lesser than a patient for the last time in my recent visit this week. I had a panic attack and anxiety attack and was crying and shaking when I left the office. I have in no way been rude or pushy or spoken in a tone to make him act this rudely and unprofessional to me. I do not feel comfortable with this doctor anymore after the trauma he put on my mental health.

I had a left shoulder injury sustained two years ago when I was lifting a heavy object. On my first visit on 07/17/2018, Dr. Boden looked at the X-ray film and said “You don’t need surgery.” He ordered a MRI and a 4-week physical therapy followed by a cortisone shot. The treatments work and my shoulder is now totally back to normal. I would like to thank Dr. Boden and the therapist, Mr. Ryan Cirac, for their great services.

Felt comfortable from my first visit with Dr. Borden. Very Direct. Had knee surgery (Torn Meniscus, Lateral Release) 3yrs ago. My job very physical and knee is fantastic. I'm also a runner and I continue to do my 4-5 runs a week on very hilly and demanding courses. Recently I fell at work and suffered a Partial Rotator Cuff tear and Labral tear. Very painful and limited range of motion. Yet after 1 month (twice a week, 4wks) of therapy I no longer need the surgery. Such a relief. Great staff!

Visited for elbow pain/tingling in fingers. Borden spoke briefly, allowed little time for questions. Walked away while answering. Took neck Xray and said was neck issue and might need surgery and gave script for Physical Therapy. Spent lots money/time doing neck PT for 2 months. After no results went to different doc. He looked at same Xray and almost laughed when he heard Borden’s diagnosis. He ordered nerve test, and accurately diagnosed ulnar nerve compression one arm carpal tunnel other.

Dr. Borden has worked on me on two occasions He is professional, direct, and showed me on the MRI and X-Rays what my injuries were and the fix. I have always felt at ease having him do my surgeries. Add to this a wonderful staff that help me navigate insurance, pre-op, etc., and Physical therapy @ Evolution Sports medicine and I could not have had a better experience.

Dr. Borden is unethical. I trusted him to make medical decisions for me, yet rushed me into surgery. In addition, he advised me to participate in a study at "no cost," but later found that he charged my insurance thousands of dollars. Any ethical doctor would tell his patients the true costs of this study, but Dr. Borden was too money hungry to fully disclose all of the financial implications of the study.

He spent 3 minutes talking to me, and rushed out while I was still talking to him when I had scheduled 30 minute appointment w/ him. He put his hand in my face and told me to shut up when I asked him about treatment options. He told me to wait to talk to him after he did my XRAY. Then KIM VARGAS in their office dropped the ball by her own admission and forgot to submit pre auth for the MRI the doctor had ordered to my insurance company until the day of, and couldnt get the MRI done bc of her.

Dr Borden is OUTSTANDING. He repaired my patella tendon in April 2016. This repair was necessary due to a botched surgery from Dr Brad Thomas. Dr Borden exercises care and due diligence. His staff is excellent. My knee continues to improve and his therapist John Finn is terrific. Recommend highly.

Dr. Borden, John in P.T., and the whole staff were great in helping me deal with my locked shoulder. My surgery was almost one year ago and I feel great despite how badly I was damaged. Dr. Borden's microabrasion approach was obviously successful as I am back to swimming and yoga. I can even sleep on the shoulder again! John was awesome in P.T. bringing me back to condition quickly. Thanks to Dr. B and the whole staff.
