Dr. Peter Blakey, MD

I don't want to leave this review. But I think it's important to warn other mothers. My 2-year-old son has always been to this pediatrician, and every time he had a fever, I took him to Dr. Blakey for an examination. The doctor said it was just the flu. However, the last time (November of this year), my son had a very high fever (104) for 3 days, so I took him to Dr. Blakey and he looked at his ears, lungs and throat and said it was nothing and that the fever was not dangerous. However, the next day, the fever continued to be high and I thought it was strange, so I took him to Kidmed and there the doctor cleaned his ear and saw that he had acute otitis media, so he prescribed antibiotics. However, the next day my son's ear was red and dislocated, which turned into mastoiditis. I took him back to Kidmed and they confirmed that it was mastoiditis and asked me to take my son to the emergency room to get intravenous antibiotics. My son was hospitalized for two days and still hasn't recover

Dr Blakey has never made me feel silly for asking any question I may have no matter how big or small and he not only takes his time to listen he takes his time to explain as well. He is the BEST doctor around hands down.

Dr. Blakey is fantastic! He takes his time with his patients and thoroughly answers any questions they may have. He is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. We absolutely love him!
